Hotel currently under going renovations but the modified reception, bar and dining were all run in normal Marriott high standard. Friendly welcoming staff. Rooms as would be expected in a Marriott. Clean and mega comfy bed so had a lovely nights sleep. Rooms are going to be all modernised. I wasn’t in one of these but still comfortable and practical.

Only issue was cleaners (I presume) moving furniture around outside lift areas at, 6.30 am breakfast staff pleasant welcoming and helpful

Stayed there loads of times and it was all very good. On this occasion a major refurbishment is ongoing. No easy access from the parking (£12 per night) Reception rooms like barns and a breakfast room struggling to cope.

Stayed in a superior room, nice and big and comfortable, look very dated, food menu as in all city centre hotels is limited, makes sense as people tend to go out to eat as there is so much choice but not so good if you want to just stay in.Good quality food and bar area comfortable.

Absolutley fantastic, staff are amazing and very welcoming.The hotel is lovely and clean, and food is amazing! Second time ive stayed here and im already looking forward to my next visit. Fantastic team!

Good value , good standards , good location
Good location , nice staff , decent spa decent price. Room service food was a little basic but it was quite late. Much much better than the Hilton double tree

New Year break in Glasgow
The hotel was 10/15 minute walk from Central Station for sixty year olds when we arrived we was given a king size room on the ten floor with a view overlooking the city The room was spacious with a large king size bed bathroom with shower and bath in the room was tea/coffee making facilities if you ran out you only had to ask We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Marriott and would use them again when next looking for a hotel

Service in bar was scone to none but the bar flies are an issue and have been an issue last year too. Must be fixed.

Great location for our trip, easy walk from Central station and also to walk in to the city centre. It's getting a refurb in 2024 which is needed as the hotel is tired looking, but I look forward to returning in the near future.

Beautiful hotel
We were early for check in and rather cold and wet, the lady at reception was so kind and checked in there was a room ready for us to check in early. There was thankfully. Our room was clean and fresh. Very comfortable for our stay. Breakfast was good and the staff were all so friendly. Would definitely stay again

Comfortable Hotel in Good Location
The Marriott Glasgow We stayed one non 02 December. Our room on the sixth floor was spacious and very comfortable. High enough to avoid traffic sounds. Beds firm and comfortable. Breakfast layout was very good and cooked food tasty. Staff at reception and in dining room helpful and efficient. They resolved the Hotels.com error not to include breakfast. The leisure centre is dated but clean. Pool, sauna, steam room all very good. The only negative was a large Christmas function downstairs which got messy as the night progressed. We avoided the bar area after returning from a meal out. Recommended.

The hotel is very dated, I hadn’t stayed in the hotel for about 15 years, and it hasn’t changed. The rooms are awful. The carpets are filthy, breakfast was average. The cost of staying here is way too high for what you are getting.

This hotel felt really dated. The rooms look run down, the bathrooms don't have walk in showers and overall the hotel didn't have a premium feel but definitely had a premium price. I booked a deluxe king room, but we got given a twin room. The guy at the desk told us it was technically an upgraded room, but that wasn't what I booked. We eventually got given a room with a king bed but nothing about the room felt like a deluxe room. The bathroom felt like you were in an aeroplane bathroom and just didn't feel like we were staying at the Marriott. Not worth the price tag of the room at all. Breakfast was really standard food, the quality of it was not great just really basic. The staff at breakfast were really lovely though. All in all I wouldn't stay there again. I was going to book massages for our stay, but after seeing the dated basic look of all the rooms I'm glad I didn't bother with the spa experience. Cost us over £200 for the room and parking on top. Not worth it.

Great stay excellent service and helpful staff. Very responsive got me a topper to make mattress more comfy. In terms of improvement some more pescatarian non alcoholic option on food menu Showers in gym could be cleaner

Awful. Dirty, tired, leisure club is disgusting. Watched a man trying lockers to take items from unlocked lockers. Most don’t have working locks so leave any valuables in your room. Same guy also urinated all over the shower. Staff were around but didn’t challenge him. Food is ok, menu limited and relatively expensive. Overall, I won’t book again. There are far better alternatives nearby.
