Cenntral to areas required.Posted Nov 7, 2013
Pros: Easy accessible from Motorways and central to visiting Our room was very clean and spacious due VG service
Cons: The Reception attendances and the public bar appearance. Very dated.
Location: Central to housing shops and venues all around the area, and accessible from Motorways.
Unfortunately, the Hotel had, had a fire in the kitchen and was under refurbishment, therefore the dining was confined to set out in public bar, and no provision was made to use lounge or other dining facilities for residents , due to evening functions etc. , nowhere for a quiet drink, unless you stayed in your room, except it was over a very loud Disco venue. Hopefully if we return, it will all be completed and accessible to resident guests in full. We have stayed before and food was very much better than at present.

a good place to stayPosted Jul 17, 2013
Location: It was close to plenty road communications and ideally placed for visiting or doing business anywhere around east and west central Scotland
It was all just fine and they seemed to be making a special effort after getting sorted out after a big fire some time back. I would be happy to recommend and to go there again.

2 star hotel **Posted Jun 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Hotel was dreadful. The rooms are located outside in the car park. There had been a fire in the hotel recently and they weren't able to cook any hot food but no where on the website does this tell you. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone,

Avoid this hotel at all costsPosted Apr 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
The lady that gave us our room key was snotty and dry towards us. The room was dirty and had not been cleaned from the people before. When i asked how long the room would be a second lady went into a full on impression of Basil Faulty. Shouting, pointing, waving her arms and walking towards me and pushing her hand inches from my face. The finishing touch was when i asked who she was, she firstly replyed she was the manager then in the same breath she shook her chest like a lap dancer and said she was the owner. i told her i was leaving and then she started to swear at me. I got my husband from the landing where "our room" was and left. i did find out from an unsuspecting member of staff the crazy lady was the owners sister NOT THE OWNER. If the real owner reads this i would love to know why your sister felt she could treat me like that all because my room HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED. AVOID THIS HOTEL
