Okay for one nightPosted Sep 23, 2013
This hotel is okay for a short over night stay. The halls were smokey and stale smelling and there was no elevator. The room was clean but obviously old and outdated. It's no 5 star but will definitely work for 1 night.

Staff/RoomPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room we received was supposed to fit 3 adults and 2 teenagers. it was so small we had to upgrade to a suite the hotel was very accommodating to make the change however,no elevator to lug all your stuff up the stairs. The breakfast was like having a snack. We had no maid service and most of the staff we encountered were very rude. However the're were 2 staff members were awesome, had they been there the whole time would have been great.

Stay for Mammoth cave tripPosted Sep 3, 2013 on Hotels.com
I am generally happy with the stay at Days inn Glasgow. Staffs were very friendly, and the hotels were reasonably clean. The bed was very comfortable. Cons were (1) It did not have microwave and refrigerator in the room (2) The hallway has some strong smells like someone smoked for long years (3) The walls of the room were very thin so I could almost hear the next room. Other than those cons, I am generally OK with this hotel.

The room was comfortable, clean, and the hotel was convenient to our destination. The breakfast was a little lacking. There was also a hole in our shower.

one night stayPosted Aug 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
Our family was in the area to see Mammoth Cave as we were passing through to SC. My wife loved the mattress and pillows and had a restful sleep. The only thing we did not like was the smell in the hallway and room which was on first floor.

Weekend at Mammoth CavePosted Aug 3, 2013
Not bad for the rate I paid. Breakfast is standard fare for free breakfast (cold cereal, pastries, bagels, some fruit). There are several eating establishments adjacent to the property and several within a short drive. One word of warning, though. I was unable to find anywhere in Glasgow to purchase package alcohol (a few food places had drinks); therefore, I had to travel about 30 miles to the next town to get some. If you are so included, bring your own or plan ahead on the road. Otherwise, a pretty good stay. I was in town only to spend time at Mammoth Cave NP which was about a 30 minute drive to and from (not bad, all things considered). If you are in town for similar activities, this is a good option for a reasonable price.

Rough nitePosted Jul 23, 2013 on Hotels.com
After 12 hours of driving I was looking forward to relaxing. Upon check in the desk staff was amazing, very friendly. But when I walked thru the dirty hallway to my room opened the door I was amazed the room was Very clean and fresh smelling but that too was a facade. When I sat on the bed it felt like a rock! And as I slept I could feel the springs poking me. Needless to say I woke up stiff and sore! The breakfast area was ok but food ran out fast and the staff was slow to re-stock

Not close to mammoth cavePosted Jul 14, 2013
Pros: Indoor pool, complimentary breakfast
Cons: All non smoking rooms or keeping them on different floors
Location: 35 mins from mammoth cave
When looking for a hotel on Expedia, this hotel came up. It made us think that it was much closer to the mammoth cave than it actually is. It is actually 35 minutes away. When calling the hotel To try to find it, we asked if they were located at a specific exit. The only response we could get after asking two times was it was right behind Shoney's. The room was on the second floor which had no elevator. We had a lot of luggage so this was difficult. The hotel overall smelled heavily of smoke. Our room was non-smoking, but the smoke smell permeated everything. The kids did enjoy the pool and there is a Complimentary breakfast.
