Daisy was delightfulPosted Aug 7, 2013 on Hotels.com
I stayed in the Angel Raphael room which was snug and spotlessly clean. The room was tucked into the very pretty garden. The bed was comfortable and while there wasn't a closet, there were plenty of hooks and hangers and a place for my suitcase. The room has a sink and an adjacent WC, but the shower is located in the main house. I stayed at the Daisy Centre for a week while attending a conference and each day I grew more attached to my room. The breakfasts were healthy and yummy with lots of organic and vegan options. The location was only steps away from the High Street but was quiet and tranquil. Daisy and her staff were always cheerful and helpful with advice about local events and sight seeing. I'm looking forward to staying at the Daisy Centre on my next trip to Glastonbury.

Clean but disapointing.Posted Jul 24, 2013
Pros: very clean
Cons: room neighbor sounds go through walls
Nice and clean hotel but room are separated with a thiny wall, so you can hear your neighbor noises (like snoring which is very unpleasant). The wifi wasn't working properly were the room was. For me both are a deal breaker. Overall the staff were good.

Relaxation at its finestPosted Jul 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
I only stayed a single night at The Daisy but was delighted with everything. I was the only guest at the moment, which gave me a chance to visit with the very sweet lady on duty. Waking up to cathedral bells surrounded by angels is celestial! I would definately stay here again!

It's a Retreat!Posted May 28, 2013
Pros: Tranquil, serene atmosphere
Cons: Quite a lot of rules for a hotel
Location: Perfect location to explore Glastonbury
When I booked this hotel via Expedia, I did not realise it was a Retreat. The photos of the rooms and hotel looked lovely so we decided to go along anyway and give it a try. The Retreat is perfect if you are looking for a spiritual getaway. Everything in the hotel is white, so you are not allowed to wear shoes. You are asked to leave them at the door. You are not allowed to take drinks into your rooms but there is a kitchen provided where you can make yourself a drink and drink downstairs or outside in the garden. Also for breakfast, guests all share the same table. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the hotel itself if spotless and very tranquil. There are definitely angels residing there. If you are looking for a traditional b&b then this is probably not for you. If you are looking for a Retreat, then this is perfect. I'm not sure if should be listed amongst other hotels with no explanation as to the rules of the Retreat as I feel it is easy to book this place without realising what you are going to.

Ok, but needs some improvement.Posted May 7, 2013
Pros: Nice staff
Cons: Small room and uncomfortable beds
Location: Just off the Glastonbury High Street behind an old cathedral. Nice location.
If you are into alternative healing using Angel etc. therapy, you will like this place. Even if you aren't into alternative stuff, you will still find a nice, relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff. I felt, however, that the room we stayed in (for three separate adults) could have been more spacious. The beds were very soft offering little back support. Other than water, no food or drink allowed in rooms. The whole place is in white. Bathrooms are shared. Parking is extra.

A special place!Posted Feb 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
I had a wonderful stay in Glastonbury - thanks to Daisy who understood what I was looking for, and pointed me in all the right directions. Everything was immediately accessible, and the icing on the cake, was that this accommodation was very special! Chicken soup for the soul! Daisy's retreat has a serenity that even the most cynical would be forced to acknowledge. I slept in Archangel Uriel room, in the garden - and it was heavenly! All the best things about camping, but warm and secure. The daylight streaming through the white muslin curtails and the birds welcoming the morning - it was truly wonderful. Cant wait to go again - and wouldnt dream now, of staying anywhere else. For me Daisy's and Glastonbury are connected!
