Fantastic hostess.Posted Sep 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
From the initial meeting, to breakfast to the room, everything was outstanding. We particularly enjoyed our conversations over breakfast with the host, she was fantastic. Totally recommended for everyone, as the cottages were welcoming, clean, bright and homely.

cozy cottage in a great settingPosted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: The lovely host Christina and the cozy cottage itself in a beautiful surrounding.
Cons: There was a lot of traffic because of a major road that was closed nearby but it might has been reopened by now.
Location: Glastonbury is a 20 -minutes-walk away: Abbey, Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well, but also day trips to Cheddar Gorge, Wells or even Bath possible.
Christina is an absolutely lovely host who cared for us in the best way we could think of. The cottage is charming and beautifully situated with a stunning view towards the Glastonbury Tor. We felt immediately at home and slept like babies in the "Merlin Room". We had a wonderful stay. Thanks a lot, Christina.

Our Stay in GlastonburyPosted Aug 21, 2014
Pros: The warmth of the welcome and without being overpowering the way we were looked after. We felt part of the family,
Cons: It would have helped to know that the facilities could possibly be shared and I was surprised to find that the establishment was vegetarian.
Location: Lots to do in the area, we visited Glastonbury, climbed the tor, did all the attractions in Cheddar, and had a great time in Wells.
We had a most enjoyable stay, very friendly and relaxing with nothing too much trouble. Bedroom spotless and very comfortable. Bed was so comfy I slept like a log.

Say yes to rooms with characterPosted Aug 17, 2013
We stayed at the Lancelot Room for 3 nights. Christina gave us a hearty welcome. We enjoyed the chatting during the (vegetarian) breakfast - every wish was fullfilled. The room was very clean and comfy. It's a pity, that the house is situated so close to the road, fortunately the traffic wasn't so busy during the night, so that we had restful nights nevertheless. Every time we would book again.

Amazing!!!Posted Jul 24, 2013 on Hotels.com
Havyatt Cottage is a wonderful place to stay in Glastonbury, Christina is amazingly warm and welcoming. I didn't have a car, and the house is outside of the town, so she drove me in and out. It really feels like you're staying with a friend, and if I ever go back to Glastonbury there's only one place I would consider!

I stayed here for two nights for a wedding. The house is lovely, and you can step out of the back door into a field for walking. Christina couldn't do enough for us, making a delicious breakfast and going out of her way to provide a very personal service. Highly recommended
