The place is old, but I think that only adds to the Globe AZ experience. Things are old, but everything works perfect and the place was immaculate. I don't care for fancy stuff but I am crazy about neatness and the place was perfect. They have new beds (I can confirm that because I found a tag attached to the back of a mattress when I was trying to find a socket). The management was extremely helpful and diligent. If you are l looking for a quiet and clean place to spend the night this is it. They say you get what you pay, implying that the more you post the not you get. When you are looking fit a place to spend the night you can't get much more than quiet, clean and comfortable. Belle-Aire is just that.

I stayed here on 4/12/13. I was looking for the cheap place to stay. I paid $57 total. This was a little high for the quality of the place but still the cheapest in town. I found out today the casino has a $70 rate with $20 in play money. Oh well. I liked El Rey. It was quaint. I stayed in room 11. The room was small but clean. The bathroom was very clean and has been remodeled recently. The shower head was plugged. The water came out in two or three fine hard streams. Probably hard water. The bed was comfortable but not new. No bugs. I was looking for a cheap place just for a good night sleep. That's what I got. If you want a bigger or newer place look somewhere else. If you are looking for an interesting place that brings back memories of travel in the 50's this is the place.
