“Will return”
We went not expeting much but we found the new management to be helpful, answered our questions. They have only been on site for a week or so, but have been working hard to up grade. New King size beds will be arriving soon. The area of Globe and Miami's history is mining, copper. Some mines are reopening. And is up where it is COOLER then the valey. e.
“do not go to this hotel”
The hotel is old, the bed was awful, dirty carpet, the spaces of the hotel were bad because in the room had an area that apparently was once a kitchenette and is now wasted and in general this hotel should not have no stars. Definitely the price does not reflect the quality of the hotel. This hotel never recommend it.
“Convenient location”
The hotel use to be one of the elite in the area when it was the Best Westen Copper Lantern. That was then, this is now. The hotel suited my purpose allright. The staff was friendly and the rates were acceptable. My room was in desperate need of some new carpeting or even just a shampoo. That is what I noticed right away. However, I will stay there again.
“Don't do this hotel”
The hotel is run down (even though it claims newly remodeled rooms). The WiFi would stay working - log on and two minutes later it drops you. The free breakfast has a poor selection. The bathroom door was loose on it's hinges and wouldn't close. The mattress on the bed was sagging - you wouldn't fall out of bed. I WON'T BE BACK!
“Not a good experience”
We were placed in a part of the hotel that probably hadn't been remodeled since the 1960's; even though there were banners on the hotel about recent remodeling. The carpet had 100's of stains. The bedspreads were old. The walls and ceilings had dried catsup stains and very old, dirty paint. The toilet ran all night. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was broken and very noisy. The sink needed repair. The door into the room was broken and hard to enter. Dust was everywhere. And, to top it all off, we were just above the hospitality room for a a bikers convention so we got to hear their partying and very loud motorcycles 24 hours a day. We should have been offered a very significant discount even to stay in the dump of a room we were placed into. It was not offered.
