Pros: Revamped room - large, stylish and very comfortable.
Cons: Food in restaurant was very good but staff were too rushed and stressed the evening we were there.
Location: Black Forrest walking, vineyards , villages etc
A very comfortable hotel in pleasant attractive old village on edge of Black Forrest surrounded by fields and vineyards . We stayed one night as a night stop.

Very friendly staff, clean spacious rooms, a beautiful location with a stream running outside, fantastic breakfast and a building with lots of character all made for a wonderful stay. The WiFi process was slightly annoying as you needed to get a new code from reception every day for each device, but at least it was free and it worked well. There was no tea or coffee in the room which would have been nice to come home to after a day walking around the black forest, but these are minor negatives that don't take away from the warm feeling of the hotel. Highly recommended.

Breakfast a joke, run out of food, no hot water on both mornings
