Excellent Guest House accommodation.

Posted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: It was authentic, friendly and relaxed. There was plenty of information on local interests e.g. walking/hiking
Cons: The shower area in our room was rather small but it is probably not possible to do anything about this due to limited space.
Location: Right in the centre of Stow. Plenty of things to do - gardens, National trust properties, English Heritage, picturesque villages, public footpaths.
In the very centre of Stow on the wold this guest house is excellent. A very old but well cared for house with tasteful furnishings and the best breakfasts I have ever had in a guest house or hotel in the UK. The bedroom was bright and comfortable. Our hosts were very attentive and helpful. Parking was on the road but right outside the house. Parking might be difficult at times but not when we were there.

Cosy B&B

Posted Jun 14, 2015
Pros: Friendliness, cleanliness, breakfast, proximity to centre of Stow.
Friendly, very well maintained, good breakfast. The room well equipped, but the room we occupied had a separate bathroom, necessitating walking across the corridor, rather than en suite, which could be a problem, and does need highlighting at the time of booking (I would have packed a dressing gown)

Charming Bed and Breakfast with Friendly Owner

Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: Bed, breakfast, owners and location.
Cons: Nothing - its drawbacks are due to it being in a very old building.
Location: In the middle of a lovely Cotswold village
Heavenly king size bed, very comfortable and excellent breakfast. Comfy sitting room. Bathroom is tiny as this is a very old and historic house. Stairs could be challenging to some. Overall a lovely stay in a beautiful village.

Wonderful welcome, beutiful cottage, excellent room. Breakfast was superb with lots of choice. So wonderful, but best of all were the hosts Roger and Margaret, kindness personified. Can't wait to go back again.

Cotswold break

Posted Oct 22, 2014 on Hotels
We were made to feel very welcome by Roger and Margaret and enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The breakfast served is brilliant and sets you up for the day. Would return there again. The location is excellent as a touring start off point. Parking can be a little tricky at times but we managed that aspect well enough.

Great location in town

Posted Oct 17, 2014
Pros: Convenient location, considerate hosts, and charming exterior.
Cons: Some surfaces in the room had not been cleaned.
Location: Right in the town. Very well located for walking.
Some of the furniture in the room and the shower needed a more thorough cleaning. The exterior and public areas were very pleasant.

Beautiful, great location, charming

Very nice B and B in a great location. Lovely couple who took very good care of us and breakfast was delicious. Stairs were a bit difficult, but that was our fault for having too much luggage. The only other thing (and I find this to be the case in many B and Bs) there was very limited place to put your toiletries out in the bathroom. If you want to get organized, a couple chelves wide enough to put out your stuff is a great help.
