The 38 indiviually designed bedrooms make the George a great place to stay. Choose a standard room or for that extra bit of comfort enjoy a 'superior' room with a few extras to make it a memorable stay.The hotel does not have a lift but we are more than happy to assist with luggage.Free Wireless internet connect is also available in our reception lounge area

“An absolute gem!”
The George is an absolute delight. We had a ball. The room was perfect, the bath wonderful! We ate in Monty's, and it was delicious. The chilli mojitos in the cocktail bar were dangerously delicious and the live music made the stay perfect. We will definitely be back!
“Pleasant with nice staff.”
Room and bathroom was small but adequate. Beds are a bit hard. Parking is not good unless you drive a mini or Ford Ka. Had to pay & display opposite at a cost of £24.00. Well placed for the town centre. Staff are really nice and helpul. Breakfast is OK and although is ordered the bacon was pre-cooked (Dry & hard) and the sausage was under cooked.
“A great stay at the George Hotel”
George Hotel is in a great location....an easy 10 minute walk to a great deal of shopping in downtown Cheltneham. Breakfast was spectacular with an open continental breakfast and a kitchen staff available to make hot breakfast. My only negative with the hotel is the absence of an elevator. We had a room on the 3rd floor so moving luggage up and down their narrow stairs was challenging. Other than that, I plan to stay here again if I visit Cheltneham again.
