Good hotel to visit the CotswoldsPosted Jul 30, 2012 on Hotels.com
On arrival the off street parking was very welcome and Wayne, the owner, was very friendly and welcoming from the beginning and right through our stay. The size of the room was adequate with a nice adjustable flat screen T.V . The room was clean, tidy, modern and included all the usual things you would come to expect i.e kettle, tea, coffee, wardrobe. The bed was comfortable and it was generally quiet throughout the night although it did get a little noisy in the morning from the other guests. Free WIFI is available but with varying levels of signal and speed. The breakfast was fantastic and probably the best we've had in the UK with a full cooked meal and buffet of cereals, fruit, muffins and yoghurt. The location is perfect if you are planning to visit the various villages in the Cotswolds. We certainly enjoyed our stay at Hilden Lodge and would thoroughly recommend it!

A short and pleasant stay at this attractive guest house. Our room was clean and comfortable although a little cramped, breakfast was excellent and the staff very pleasant. The out-of-town location suited our purpose perfectly and would be handy for escaping into the Cotswolds.

It was nice and clean, but very small and a pokey room, and very noisy at night. It was a long way from the town centre walking distance, overall an ok place, but wouldn't stay there again. quite expensive for what you got.

Nice folks, nice placePosted Jul 14, 2010
Lizzy greeted us at the door, knew who we were, and immediately made us feel welcomed. SHe guided us to a dining establishment which was just what we were looking for, and she was very helpful in planning out our next day's adventures. The breakfast each morning was the best we had in our trip to the UK in terms of variety and quality of the food. The 200+ selection of DVDs was a great way to unwind at the end of the day.
