Great Hotel, Close to the Ocean!Posted Nov 8, 2013
Pros: The rooms, the pool, the location.
Cons: DInner buffet was okay, mini fridge needed repairs.
Location: We rented a moped next door for 150 rupees, it was great for getting around. The local spice plantation was a good choice. Lazy Days Restaurant a must
We booked a room with a king size bed for 4 nights. Overall, it was a great experience. A great deal for the location and amenities. Everything was very clean, good variety for breakfast, beautiful scenery. Our only complaint is that our mini fridge didn't work and we called twice but no one ever came to fix it. Also the pool closed at 7pm, we wish it had been open later. Note: this is more of a family/couple hotel, not for those looking to party.

Worst hotel with highly pricedPosted Oct 25, 2013
Terrible location, its inside a lane which was very dirty and very hard to find also... Its not a 4star property for sure, forget about it being a 5star like they normally claim to be on some sites, it just has the tag of ITC thats it... The construction and the crowd is very bad... If u need privacy with ur loved one this is not the hotel for sure, the rooms are also not sound proof, so if there are kids in the next room then u cant sleep peacefully for sure... The quality of food is very bad and the taste too, and if any of the food items in the buffet gets over, they don't fill it up either... There is no clothes restrictions for the pool also, so u will find aunties and uncles and kids in the pool wearing salwar kameez and sarees and sick pants and all, no proper swimwear at all... The gym is very very bad, no proper equipment, no trainer, very small and dirty... The in room ac was very bad, we kept the ac on 18C for the whole night but still the room was not cold at all it was just working as a fan does and yes there is one fan also in the room which keeps making noises, so that wont also let u sleep unless u are very tired... The only good thing about this hotel was the bed, it was really very comfortable... We spent just one night here though we did an advance booking on the net for 4 days but without taking the refund we left the hotel because it was simply pathetic... Not recommended at all if u need privacy an if u need some peace... But yes if u r in a group or hav

Good family hotelPosted Apr 1, 2013
Pros: Great staff
Cons: Too many children
Location: 10 min walk to the beach, 3 minute walk to the main road.
Fantastic hotel and staff. Good location-just off the main road. During our stay the hotel became dominated by domestic tourists and their young families, although we did stay over Easter.

A Beautiful Holiday in CandolimPosted Apr 1, 2013
Pros: Location and Service
Cons: The aged Plumbing and look of the Hotel
Location: The Location was perfect as it is placed in the heart of Candolim and very accessible to great eating joints and a Lovely Beach
From the time we entered this Hotel to the time we left we were only surrounded by smiles. Smiling Staff and Smiling visitors. The Hotel is quite a good property though fairly aged it still has some appeal. The rooms are quite spacious, well lit and airy. We had taken the city view Room on the fourth floor just above the Lobby and were very happy with it. Though it didn't have the view of the Swimming pool and the Green pastures ahead, it still had a good view of the this green and beautiful city. No noise from the road or the Hotel itself, the room was pretty much private and well served. The Bathrooms and the plumbing could have been better and the appliances better serviced, but that was changed with one call to the Room Service so there was no bad blood there. The food at the Breakfast Buffet was very Pleasing and a good range of items to select from. The pool though small, was just about spacious to have enough room to take a dip and paddle around for fun. It was very obvious that the kids there were having a great time. I would recommend this Hotel for its service and location for being in the heart of Candolim which is a bit away from the Crowded streets of Baga and Anjuna but still accessible by bike or Car whichever you prefer. Would totally suggest eating at Topnosh and Fisherman's Cove for a great meal.

Overpriced HotelPosted Mar 9, 2013
Cons: Almost Everything
Overprices hotel with very limited activities. Considering the hotel claims to be a 5 star hotel and part of ITC group, there were no 5 star expereince. Food was ok. from activity perspective, it had a very small pool. Nothing great otherwise. the hotel did not provide any help from travelling in Goa. We were left at the mercy of "Rent-A-Car" fellows. Very disappointing.
