Hotel Manoshanti

* This is a bare bones hotel. The rooms and walls have been painted new, but the furniture and fixtures are old and falling apart. * Hotel is located deep in the town - not suitable for tourists. * The hotel has no personal car parking facility. * The hotel does have good vegetarian breakfast (idli or upma) * Hot water for bath is only in the mornings. * Did not have any hand towels. * Requested extra pillows - didn't have any. * Tipped the housekeeping staff well, so they tried to take care of us. * Hotel reception did not have local maps or much info on tourism. Eager to book you with local tour operators. * Other hotel options in similar price range are available - also look at hotels by Goa Tourism dept.

The hotel gives you a nice affordable option. For anyone who intends to roam around in Goa and doesnot want to spend much time in hotel, the amenities would suffice. The suit we stayed is nicely kept but the bathroom is not upto the mark as per room. The food is average and the ambience and service of restaurant is also average. The hotel staff is responsive and caring.

A good budget hotel..Cozy rooms (the suite) clean bathrooms.nice beds and comfortors. The room service used to switch off the fridge which caused the problems. Also for paid breakfast they charge u for the bread that usually comes with omlette which was strange. Didnt try the restaurant much. Also the owner was not sure about my booking with hotels.com and i had to wait for long to sort it out. Also i was told i wont get a receipt for this stay as i booked with hotels.com and not directly from them. Overall not bad but the location isnt great and its advisable u dont peep outside ur room as it looked filthy.
