“Out of season vagator”

Good points:- the hotel is generally well appointed, the bar, restaurant poolside and the pool itself are all tastefully set out and well furnished as are the rooms. Well maintained and cleaned. Prices for food and drinks very reasonable, in fact during our stay drinks were 2 for 1 so very cheap but good quality. bad points:- no wifi internet in hotel as advertised (the man with the username & password info was out of town!). Quite a stiff walk to the beach Very quiet but to be expected, May is out of main season

“'A little gem'”

Brilliant spacious room with all possible services. Stayed an extra night there. Breakfast was a bit scanty on fruits and juices as there were very few staying there but not a problem as staff were very obliging at all times. Fine pool and facilities and eat there at times. All things were reasonably priced in the bar.The beach was about 15 minutes away abd didnt spend too much time there and poor facilities there with no umbrellas etc. Some reasonable cafes around eg 'The Mango Tree' but not upmarket stuff. Nice hotel to chill out after Delhi and Agra. All in all was very satisfying.

Great rooms, nice pool, friendly staff and excellent Indian food, especially the tandoori. The chef wasn't so good with continental food, but the surrounding area is littered with restaurants of every description, so no problem if you don't like it spicy.

“Good location, damp hotel”

Asked the staff 3 times to change the battery in the smoke alarm as it kept beeping. In the end, I had to get on a stool and do it myself. Staff were polite but useless. They lost my laundry (later found after I went to the laundrette myself), seemed surprised if I asked for a drink (and looked confused when I gave my order) and generally lacked initiative. The room was too humid and damp (on the ground floor). Nice pool, 'though and the beach is walking distance.

“Awful Staff and Service. Don't go.”

The hotel service (if possible) got even worse. The two women on reception were both rude and stand offish, never saying hello or smiling and giving us dirty looks every time we walked pass. They were really unhelpful and would refuse to call us a taxi, once even "claiming" that the phone was broken. When we asked to hear the dial tone it miraculously started working again... My phone was stolen from the bedroom - when we told reception I was told that I was a "silly girl who must have lost it". I never took my phone outside the room with me. The hotel searched our room, and we ended up feeling like we were in the wrong and stupid for even mentioning it. It's such a shame as Goa is such a lovely place - this hotel really did ruin the experience for me. If you want a relaxing holiday where staff are friendly and curteous, do not go here. It's really, really bad.
