Good hotel but too far from city

Posted Jan 29, 2015
All most everything is ok. The food is very expensive on site. The staffs are very friendly. Its kinda far from Goa town and it will take some time to reach the town.

close to beach and fantastic pool

Posted Jan 14, 2015
We stayed with our two school age children and had a great time, as most everything you might want to do is easily accessible. The positivies: Nice van picks you up at the airport, lovely welcome, pool is fantastic with two (smallish) slides, but fun enough. Tennis court, croquet, archery and of course, the beach, which is clean and lovely. The water was warm enough even for me, and this was at New Year's, with gentle surf and no icky sea creatures, and wonderfully, no garbage in the water or on the sand. The water was not very clear or blue, but that is because of two rivers that empty silt into the ocean nearby enough to cloud it up a bit. But it was clean and warm -- great for water skiing, jet skiing and just splashing around. Lots of different restaurants in the hotel but once we discovered the "beach shack" restaurants on the beach, we never went back to the hotel restaurants, as they were CHEAP and the food was fantastic. Be sure to bring your bug spray, though, and of course, no ice in the drinks and no salad. The negatives: The place needs a bit of a facelift - just cosmetics, but some power washing, painting here and there, and things like making sure all the light fixtures are working. Like most hotels, there was not enough light and not nearly enough electrical outlets for all the things we needed to plug in! Showers are huge but no real bath tub so if you need this for a small child, beware. Staff was attentive and tried very hard to please.

Poor management

Posted Jan 5, 2015
Pros: Food was good
Entertainment is painful Waiter service is extremely slow and poor. Expect to wait for half an hour for a bottle of water Stayed for 5 days and only managed to sit on beach for a few hours due to lack of loungers No activities provided for Xmas period- which is unheard of! Very poor band for New Years Eve. They should stick to the DJ- who was very good. Rooms and hotel had a lot of mosquitoes and fleas Hotel doesn't have a shop selling basic toiletries eg. Mosquito repellant!

Great stay just marred a little by inefficiencies.

Great hotel, great services, great courtesy, wonderful pools & grounds, great beaches, just very inefficient and inaccurate service (hence 4/5 overall).

Nice hotel, good foods, private beach.

Posted Nov 8, 2014
Pros: beautiful pools, massages and access to the beach, nice gym.
Cons: lot of kids in the spa (rules>16 years old). pool section for adults will be appreciate. skin product disapperred and they didn't nothing.
Location: nice place and close to city (20min.)
we liked our experience. Italian restaurant meals are very good. driver and car rental is easy and high quality service. easy access to the beach, clean guardens. During our stay, there were no lounges at the beach.

Very nice hotel, close to the beach. Restaurants are all placed in the middle, so you can have a romantic dinner with a nice view of the sunset. The best thing about this resort is that you can find a silent place pretty much everywhere, because there is plenty of living area.

Great but not enough beds for all of us

Posted Nov 4, 2014 on Hotels.com
It's a fantastic hotel with fantastic staff. The service, the room, the complimentary yoga class and the pool were all great. One thing that we however found strange was that we booked one room for two adults and two children (age 9 and 11) and there was no extra bed when we arrived. We got one after asking, and after she checked if there were any available, but we had not expected that we should have to sleep three in the king size bed. As we only stayed one night we didn't bother to do anything about it on spot.
