Amazing hotel and areaPosted Feb 23, 2014
I am normally quite a picky person but this hotel was absolutely amazing. The rooms are very large. The pool is lovely and as there aren't that many bedrooms, it is not normally very busy. The staff were very good indeed, especially good to see as we had a lot of problems in other places in India. Also, would really recommend the golf lessons. Location wise it is great, a stones throw from the beach where there are loads of restaurants. Overall probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in.

Great hotel!Posted Dec 29, 2013
We stayed for just 1 night in a room with a private pool. The room was great and very spacious, with a lovely warm feel. We also ate in the Italian restaurant, which was amazing but expensive for Goa. Would defo stay again, but in just a normal room as the pool area eithin the grounds are lovely. Also breakfast was amazing, never have I had a man juice my OJ in front of me...very fresh! They even provided a free transfer to our next hotel.

A class act!Posted Dec 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
We had a wonderful stay at the Taj Exotica. The service was impeccable and the property was very well maintained. The beach was very clean and not at all crowded. The only downside was the food - it was overpriced and not that good. We were forced to look for restaurants outside just like other guests. As a result, the resstaurants were deserted in the evenings.

Excellent luxury hotel and fabulous beach in Goa!Posted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Jiva Ayurvedic spa, Taj Khazana and the Lobster Shack were my favourite!
We chose this hotel for two reasons: we knew we’d have a 5 star experience knowing it was a Taj property, as well, we consciously wanted to stay away from the maddening crowds of North Goa, yet not be completely far removed from the airport and attractions. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of grounds, the service, the rooms and all their facilities – especially their dining! First off, the pick up from the airport was easy. Once we arrived, we were given refreshing welcome drinks and quickly checked in, along with an orientation to the hotel and a buggy ride to our villas. We had three villas booked and all were upgraded to those with private pools in the back – yay! The villas are not right on the beach, but that was quite alright with us. The main pool is beautiful with lovely champa trees flanking the waters. The bar is right there and a guy walks around taking your drinks order very half an hour or so. There are also other activities like volleyball, archery, cricket, soccer, bike riding and duck feeding. The Lobster Shack is one of their many dining options – and by far the best. If you like fresh fish or lobster, this place is heaven! It was quite something to pick your own fresh fish (the catch of the day arrives in the afternoon), then have it custom cooked to your liking. Yum! The beach was heavenly – no seaweed, soft sand, beautiful water and no major crowds. And the staff were warm, friendly and efficient at all times. Can’t wait to go back!
