“Great Hotel if you have little children!”

The hotel location is its only drawback. It is far from town and takes about 1hr from the airport. But other than that, it is a piece of paradise on earth. The beach is a white sandy dune and is sooo clean, it is hard to believe one is in India. The hotel is wonderful and the staff even better! With little kids (2 and 4yrs old), I would highly recommend it. The kiddie pool is just perfect for the little ones to play in all day and staff is so friendly and responsive. It was truly a pleasure.

“Nice hotell”

Enjoyed the hotel. Nice pool, beautiful green area and a short walk to a fantastic beach. But if you want to do daily sightseeing trips, it's far away from everything.

“Good spot...”

Overall, the resort was good and the personnel there were really nice. Breakfast was really good and the rooms were comfortable. The beach was really nice and it was private for just the guests. The bar was really, but kind of empty. Cons: The Casino seemed like a scam. There's a fee of 500 rupees (which they said was a fee from the government). This was true, but we found out the fee was only 200 rupees and they were trying to up charge. Then they said that the government does not allow cards in casinos...seemed really fishy so we decided not to play... I cut my foot on a broken tile in the pool and they didnt seem too concerned about it. It was kind of away from everything. But again...overall, it was a nice stay.

“Nice Place”

We stayed here for a week and had a very positive experience. It was what we were looking for - a very nice pool, beach access, kids activities, and relaxing atmosphere. The highlights were the meandering swimming pool with water falls and the attention given by the staff. We were up graded to a better room without extra cost. The kids club kept the kids busy and wife and I were able to finish a book or two. It is away from sightseeing locations - but that was fine with us as we were looking for a quiet place... this was it.

“Surprisingly mediocre”

First, the restaurant, food, and restaurant staff were top-notch. Each person who helped/served us in the restaurant treated us as if we were the only people there. The food quality was outstanding, as was the choice. The breakfast and lunch buffets couldn't be beat. The mediocre: The housekeeping staff did half-baked cleaning. They used dirty water and rags to wash the floors, so even after five minutes the bottoms of my feet were black--moreso than if I'd been walking outside barefoot. It was kind of disgusting. And they'd forget to leave towels. So inevitably we'd have to call to get bath and hand towels, and then we'd get only one each--even with two people in the room. It might possibly have been due to the fact that we went during the peak season, but that still shouldn't preclude rooms from being cleaned correctly. Additionally, if you're in one of the main hallways off the lobby, nighttime can be a bit noisy. There's a casino and a couple of bars attached to the hotel, so late at night sound echoes off the wall. We were awoken several times during the night by people who may or may not have had a few too many. I'd suggest a room further away from the lobby. Overall the service could have been better. I was rather surprised about it. However, the grounds, the pool, and the beach were all first-rate, so nothing mediocre about that.

“Sad sojourn at Zuri White Sands, Goa”

I'll sum it up in one line. Casual & indifferent attitude of the staff at the hotel (especially at the reception/Check-in) made me feel like I was staying in a glorified 'beach shack'. Went in with 'great expectations' and came back with 'great disappointment'. Only saving grace was availability of a number of alternate options for wining/dining within walking distance of the property. And I'd like to ask Zuri staff to learn 'customer service' from these guys.

“Only once!”

All the food was too expensive for what you got. The internet didn't work in the room on our internet devise. The beach was nt private as ypu had to sign in and out to go to the real beach. The hotel buffets were way over price and I gave them a 4 out of ten. The hotel hostess Happerone and Emma made the vacation really enjoyable. Could be just me, however. It is definitely a couples/family resort.
