Potential to be a nice hotel...Posted Jun 14, 2015
The hotel needs to be refurbished. Some of the woodwork (around the garden door) was crumbling. The bath tub was very old and felt unsteady when having a shower. The restaurant also wasn't the best, food ok, we ended up eating at the Taj Village, there was more variety of food and tastier. The staff were nice, friendly and helpful!!

Great service, rooms need renovationPosted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
Excellent service, great breakfast buffet, free shuttles to take you around the property and the adjoining Taj Village. However, the hotel was built in 1974 and it shows. The cottage rooms are in dire need of renovation although everything is clean and functional.

Stayed with our 5-year-old daughter and had a wonderful time in this beach-front resort. Well located and amazing service at this facility.

Trevligt hotell med bra läge i norra GoaPosted Mar 17, 2015 on Hotels

Taj Aguada Goa - Over priced and over rated!Posted Feb 24, 2015 on Hotels
Hotel pickup was waiting when we landed. When we reached, we were upgraded to a higher category room which was great! But when i entered the room, there was a strong smell of dampness and non-ventilated room. It was a struggle for us as every time we entered the room we had to call house keeping and ask them for a full spray of freshener. For Taj hotel, i was very disappointed as we have paid top rupees for this trip and we expect the best! Food was OK but the coffees and Teas are below standard. They don't even have green tea in room!!! One has to pay for it if one asks for it. WIFI is slow and cuts off all the time. for premium wifi they charge 800/- per day which is extremely high for a hotel. I would definitely think twice before we stay there again. Our room number was 416 . I've traveled extensively and stayed in Taj all over and by far this is the most run down Taj ever.

world class mold experimentPosted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Awesome location and facility
Cons: Maintenance and cleaning
Location: Eat and swim
The shower and bathroom were covered with black mold - not expected in a 5 star resort
