Kettle was mouldy, Cold Shower, Poor WiFi service, the room was tidy, is in a great location, overall the stay was okay, since we were only there to sleep, but the a few things that could be improved with a little TLC.

Thanks for the comment, We do need guest to advise of somethings as please remember we do not use the rooms. Unfortunately when we have a full house the demand on the hot water is great and it does take time to refill when everyone is showering during peak times for check out and on return after the day out. We try very hard to maintain our standard to offer clean basic comfort for the budget conscious traveler.

My first mystery hotel disappointment

Pros: bed and room were clean
Cons: rate has to reflect room .needs to be freshened up
Location: walking :beach,restuarants
Having a great mystery hotel bookings history this was my first disappointment would have cancelled but already paid. Bathroom door damaged (punched i think) main security door chain lock just falls out ,advised reception and she was aware of damages .room very dated but give it credit bed and room were clean. Good close walk to beach and a nice but decent walk to main center via beach or main road. i personal think it should not be a mystery hotel but a one you see for yourself so you know at least what you are getting and paying for.

We are aware that some rooms need some maintenance and is scheduled to be done, however we have had such high demand for the budget stay that we are not able to complete work before releasing some rooms back to inventory. Our priority is to ensure all bedding is clean and bathrooms although dated are clean and if you find something wrong let us know so that we can fix it please.

Just okay

This place is just okay, nothing outstanding. First time refills for coffee and milk is free after that you have to pay. Have to pay for clean towels as well. However if you need an affordable place to lay your weary head it will do.the pool is nice and there are eateries within walking distance, also the beach is ver close.

Nice, cheap Motel near Everything

Pros: Quiet, calm, clean, tidy, good facilities, large room, near to everything. Cheap.
Cons: Replace existing paver-and-pebble-stone pathway from front gate to rooms with a solid pathway: must carry bags as they cannot roll across existing.
Location: Bonita Bonita (restaurant) has EXCELLENT food and is good value. Many other places nearby also. Putt-Putt Golf (walking distance) is very good also.
Older-style Motel, a little dated. Clean, tidy, large room. Facilities in good condition, inc a microwave in kitchen. Close to beach, a variety of restaurants, public transport, etc. Easy access to parking.

needs some serious repair work doing due to age and water damage. I felt underwhelmed when I stayed as part of a mystery deal especially when the rate was the same as I could have got myself and not the 40% discount I was lead to believe! I complained to motel and wotif and so far just been shouted at by motel manager. They also only want to conect 1 Wi-Fi device which doesn't work with 2 children. Our room was very water damaged, needed major paint job and dirty clothes behind bed.

all guests should be aware that the property is 3 star budget accommodation and while it may be old and not have a luxurious look it offers a clean bed, shower and basic amenities to suit your overnight or short stay. We endeavour to assist all guests with their needs, however at no time do our staff shout at any guestsl We do however make our hotel rules and guidelines very clear. Our restrictions both with wifi and noise curfew is for the benefit of all guests that stay although it may not suit all guests. Unfortunately we were affected by heavy rains over the summer and while the outside was recently repaired the inside is still under repair. This is difficult when there is demand by so many other properties in the same position. It is also necessary for all guests to report anything such as any property that may have been overlooked left in the room to the attention of the manager as soon as it is found. We cannot do anything to assist when we do not know about it.

Our building is old but we do look after our guests. It is always being maintained and due to the many changes on the Gold Coast there is very few BUDGET motels still operating. Clean comfortable beds. As is said Dont judge a book by its cover

Bad service

OVERCHARGING, too expensive, not worth the money. I didn't like the place. It looks like a very cheap motel but the fee is too much. The staff is unaccommodating, and doesn't even smile at all. It looks way different in the picture. Not what i expected. Overall experience was unsatisfactory. The wifi is strictly only for one person, and the internet reception is very slow and crappy!.. Bad service, Although close to a few cafés, a bit close to the bus stops

All rates are based on our 3 star property. please remember weekends and holidays are always higher tariffs no matter where you stay. All staff are usually very accommodating to all guests but please remember it is can be difficult at times when we are dealing with issues that are not easy to handle. You will always find us to assist all guest in a manner in which is appropriate. Our wifi service is advertised as restricted due to the limited reception within so many brick walls and it is FREE no charge. When guests do abuse it the speed is very slow. Please remember that it is an older building and unlike the brand new buildings that are on the gold coast which is higher in tariff, this is BUDGET.

Nice place, friendly staff

We only stayed one night, but it was good. I think that most people reviewing have been a little harsh. Remember that it is a budget hotel. It was close to everything, great staff, would definatly recommend.

Pros: Price point
Location: Plenty of places to eat and handy to the beach.
My wife and daughter found it functional and served its purpose. It was clean, in good condtion and ultimately good value.

We asked guests to remember we are a budget property, Our parking is limited to one space per room and there is both front and rear parking. Bays are not numbered to each unit so its not possible to get the same spot each time. We are located with a side street for street parking as well.
