“A wonderful 2 weeks in Paradise!”

A wonderful 2 week stay just out of the centre of Surfers. An easy 10 minute stroll in so near enough the action when you want to be yet not too near when you want some peace and quiet! Lovely staff and great facilities - particularly the outdoor bbqs - the one with the river views is seriously not to be missed! 2 minute walk to a lovely quiet and clean section of the beach which is life-guarded. Would definitely recommend!

“March 2012”

Hotel has excellent facilities Steve and Brenda are excellent hosts very attentive nothing appears to be too much trouble. our party had two apartments one refurbished one not suggest you request a refurbed room, Apartments privatley owned so condition not in hosts control. It would not have cost a lot to bring the room up to the standard of the refurbished room. Having said that the accomedation is excellent value for money in a great location.

“Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts :)”

The actual room was modern and light and airy, which was nice when it was warm outside. The air conditioning was very helpful although it was only in the main living area. The cooking facilities were very good, we had a delicious barbecue one night and cooked on the stove top too. The fact that we were only on the second floor meant it was very noisy in the morning so there was little sleeping in for us, although that is to be expected. The pool, spa and sauna closed too early for our liking, at 8pm, when it would have been much better at around 10. The staff were incredibly helpful about buses, attractions, setting up things, asking about our day. It may be a good idea for them to establish wireless internet or at least get another computer in the foyer as we often had people waiting to use the internet after us. However, despite these little things, I really liked waking up in the morning to have breakfast on the balcony that overlooked the pool and we had a really great time. I would recommend these apartments to anyone who wants to be fairly close to cavill avenue and pretty close to the beach, as well as a Red Rooster (for meals out) as students, we were impressed overall.

“Another dollar”

The two main issues with this apartment complex were that the rooms did not have a safe. There was a safe keeping service available from the reception but reception was only open limited hours meaning we were restricted to what could realistically be left in the safe. We were left with no option other than to carry our valuables around with us which impacted heavily on the rating of this accommodation. We later moved up the coast to another complext and having a safe in the second apartment made such a difference in that all we needed to carry around with us in the blistering heat was some money and a camera. This was a lot of money to stay here and each and every little item that we found to be included in other hotels/apartments was charged extra for. I also found the information book in the room to be full of don'ts rather than do's and overall although the managers were great I would definitely not stay here, nor recommend the property.

“Capricorn 1”

On your website you clearly rate this accommodation as being 4 star. It is definitely NOT the case, although I would concede that it did provide a 5 star view from the balcony. These are private apartments and vary in quality, style and décor, with most appearing to be very tired and in need of an upgrade. The first impressions were not good, the door to the apartment was roughly painted with undercoat and unfinished like a inner City tower block! The managers said when we expressed our dissatisfaction that it was only a 3 star despite you clearly listing it on your website as 4 star. There was a sense that you were left very much to your own devices once you had arrived, with little in the way of guidance or advice about local facilities and attractions, with no reception manned after 5pm during week days and 1130am on weekends. Our apartment had a telephone, but despite 3 separate requests it was never activated, meaning that we could not make any local calls, hire a cab, book a restaurant or more importantly contact someone in the case of an emergency or illness. Both the managers are appeared to be nice people which made complaining quite difficult, but in the interests of providing honest feedback, we feel that it is important that you give some attention to our comments and review your listings of this property on your website as we feel that we were mislead. This gave the impression of being a low budget accommodation, unfortunately without a budget price.
