“location good management rude”
My elderly friend & I were staying at Copacabana for 4 days, my other friend & her family had arrived before hand so we could spend time together, I rang my friend and she told me she had trouble and had told a women she spoke to on the phone
that two of her friends were coming & being elderly would need a ground floor apartment, when we arrived we were told our room was on the 2nd floor with stairs
to climb, when I booked I wanted a garden apartment like my friend, but we were told that this was the only apartment available & as we were so tired we just wanted to rest. I was told I booked early I should had known. my friends & I feel like we were tricked, we should have been told that we would only have apartments that you could view the garden but we thought we could have an apartment with a garden.
when we were waiting to leave the women said it was Expedia's fault
we did'nt get the right apartment.I was'nt very happy when she said that,blaming expedia for there mistake.
my other elderly friend was really glad to leave as she started to feel ill because of the stairs, & my other friend ended up having a bad asthma attack as the management had painters to paint around different apartments.
This work should have been done beforehand.
my other friend was so nervous about staying there, she went out & brought paper plates, cups etc as the management told them bluntly that they would pay if anything got broke. Not a very good holiday..very happy to leave there.
