Great location in Surfers ParadisePosted Sep 27, 2014
Cons: Ambiance is a little "cold"
Location: Everything as recommended for a family stay in SP
Ideally located in centre of SP. Short walk to shops and beach. Good wholesome breakfast. We were in serviced apartment that was well attended daily and had all necessary facilities as per website. Our 4 year old was safe.

Excellent choice on the Gold CoastPosted Sep 23, 2014
Pros: The view and the location
Cons: Cleanliness of common areas
Location: Good for theme parks, and right in the heart of the Surfers shopping strip.
I was pleased with this hotel. The location is right in the middle of Surfers, and only 10 minutes to Sea World or 20 minutes to Movie World. It was hard to find the hotel due to the one way streets, but once I found Cavell Avenue it was easy. I was on level 31 in the Residences Tower, so noise was not an issue. I could see how low floors in the hotel could be noisy, as there are nightclubs below it. Self-parking was $AUD15 per night and relatively easy, although the carpark itself is a bit of a maze. A free upgrade to an ocean view room was a nice touch, and the view was good, looking past the hotel tower and over the mall towards the ocean. The room itself (2 bedroom deluxe) was large and functional. It wasn't really a 5 star room in terms of fittings, but was solidly 4 star. The second bedroom has two glass sliding doors for walls and opens up into the lounge, so might be noisy for kids if parents are making a lot of noise. Common areas are stark (lots of polished concrete), and the pool area was cold and windy despite sunny days. Even the indoor pool was cold, which was disappointing, and there was a lot of mess not cleaned up (other people's food trays etc). I thought the Salt restaurant was only average for breakfast, and wouldn't have eaten there if it wasn't included in our rate. Room service was good and reasonably priced for this quality of hotel. Overall, being centrally located and in a nice room was perfect for my needs. I would stay here again.

Good hotelPosted Sep 20, 2014
Hotel is nice and clean. Only issue is the adjacent building blocking a part of the ocean view.

Best family holiday!!Posted Sep 19, 2014
Pros: Staff were attentive and friendly. They recognized us each morning at breakfast and made us feel welcome. It was very organized and clean as well.
Cons: The only thing I could nit pic about is the temperature of the pools. Freezing!!!
Location: There is plenty to do nearby. There is the beach of course, lots of shopping and eating just outside the door as well as kids games/arcade etc.
From the minute we walked into our room at the Hilton residences and saw that amazing view, we were relaxed!! We were so happy it was spacious (2 bedroom apartment) with a kitchen, washer/dryer, and a deck outside. The hotel is situated in the midst of everything in surfers so we felt there were plenty of times we could just walk to our destination. I also liked how the hotel had security staff on the hotel door at night.

Wireless Internet was not working even after called help desk. We always use the online check in for the our fights, but this time we had to Check in at the airport. Wireless internet is included in our package, but it failed to deliever this simple service which is really disappointing.

This was the Worst hiltonPosted Aug 23, 2014
First I asked for early check when I made my reservation as I arrived at holt at 6am but no rooms until 3:30pm plus I asked for 2bed room aprt. One king size and the other twin beds which was not the case when we intered the room and when I asked why they said the sofa turns to bed ? Secondly the rooms had a very bad smells and when complained they sent a technical to fix the smell issue which he said that most of the guests compliend about which is caused by the washing machine and drayer, third my kids I pad was stoles in the breakfast table and when I asked them to check the video from the cameras in the resturant the security team said that the cameras is not working for sometime due to issue with the system and last comment would be the concierge when I asked for kids activities they asked me to go to googal a search until I lost my cool and started to shout then they assisted me, my overall all stay was very very bad and the worst hilton experience and this is my first time giving a negative feedback ever

Great locationPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Views, comfortable room
Cons: House keeping
Location: Central to everything
Family friendly, staff were very attentive and great location with beautiful ocean views. The only downside to our stay was the house keeping but the front desk compensated with free parking during our stay.
