“Excellent Getaway”

Was able to check in early Best check in staff ,very helpful for my very tired daughter who travelled 15 hours on a train & bus

Arrived in the check-in area, process was smooth, got my key and stayed at level 22, nice view, room was clean, the hotel is central to everything, close to beach, shops, etc. Definitely will stay here again.

Great hotel, great location (only one block from the beach and at the start of the pedestrian mall in the heart of Surfers). Highly recommended!!!

Got my room with the Ocean View on 24th floor. Nice view and spacious indeed. Glad I booked the room with buffet breakfast, but turned out the breakfast wasn't that great for what I was expecting at the extra cost. There is a large chain-store supermarket at the basement of the hotel building that you can always get food for breakfast on the night before (do that because the supermarket doesn't open that early in the morning). I had to ask for a toothbrush set which was a bit inconvenient, as I thought they would provide it without me asking. Never mind, it wasn't a big problem. Dinner wasn't a problem. There are lots of eating places just outside the hotel. However, I found the best cuisine was actually a Japanese restaurant called "Y_______" located inside another hotel. You must go and try it. I stayed here for 4 nights. Staff were friendly. I felt quite relaxed and comfortable whenever I get back to the hotel. It is also 5 minutes walk to the beach and conveniently situated in the centre of Surfers Paradise. Recommended!

apart from the motel unaware of our booking on arrival and the few minutes delay we were very happy with the hotel staff, position of the motel excellent very close to ever convenience, room very spacioius, clean, comfortable bed. Would be very happy to book this motel again.

Everything was excellent. All staff very helpful, location couldn't be beaten - you can walk to everything in town and the beach, shopping centre below. Comfortable, large, room and bed. Cleaning very good. Would love to go back. The car parking was a bit expensive but that goes with the CBD location, I guess. Don't miss the Seafood Stack in their REZ252 restaurant - delicious and top value.

“Memorable Stay.”

We had a most wonderful stay. The Grand Chancellor is an outstanding hotel with great service and helpful staff. Situated close to restaurants, shops, Seaworld and the beautiful beaches. The seafood platter at the hotel restaurant was a most memorable experience amd a swim and a spa was really relaxing. We would recommend the Grand Chancellor to both young and older people.Thank you for a really great stay at Surfer's Paradise. It was quite a bit like paradise alright.

“Great service as expected”

They wowed us everyday. All staff was very friendly and service oriented as expected from Marriott properties. Location was perfect, right in the middle of town and steps to the beach. Room service was yummy. We were upgraded to the Ocean front view, just because they could do it. For sure we would stay here again.
