“Stay at the Holiday Inn (just avoid Serenity Spa at all costs)”

Staying at the Holiday Inn proved to be an enjoyable experience. Check-in was seamless and we were given a brilliant room overlooking the ocean on the eighteenth floor. We sampled both room service and the breakfast buffet and were impressed by the quality of both. Our hotel was well-positioned and only a stroll away from shops and the beach. However the most pleasing aspect of our stay was our customer experience. The staff were welcoming, responsive, courteous, professional and demonstrated a great service ethos. In particular they appropriately escalated our concerns in relation to Serenity Spa (this is independently operated within the hotel complex and is the WORST EVER Spa service we have encountered nationally and internationally so be wise and take your business elsewhere as there are ample other options in Surfers). We look forward to returning to the Holiday Inn upon our next visit to the Gold Coast.

“Everything close by”

We stayed as a family of 4. The location means that you can access the theme parks with ease, especially by bus. The pool is lovely and well maintained. The beach is a very short walk away and the choice of restaurants is huge in the surrounding area. The hotel is comfortable, the staff very helpful & friendly and the restarant at the hotel very good.

“Hotel of choice for all travel to the Gold Coast”

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel and on both occasions it has been an absolute treat. Whenever I travel to the Gold Coast in the future I will be staying here. Rooms are well maintained and extremely comfortable and there is a pillow menu to select from, room service and housekeeping are prompt (although the quality of some of the items on the take out room service menu isn't anything special), staff always do everything they can to help you, didn't come across anyone with a poor attitude, great location, 2min walk to beach & 5-10min walk to Cavill Ave. Great value too, especially considering all the little extras, although the cost of the WiFi in the rooms is a little pricey.

“Definitely a winner”

The rooms were lovely, the hotel in a superb location, parking was cheap. We tried the room service, food was good and reasonably priced. Very comfortable accommodation for a family of 4.

“Most definitely a positive experience of Surfers' Paradise!”

Staff were courteous. They were helpful and ensured I knew where to contact for more towels and bedsheets, etc. Too bad there was no free wifi - no fussed as I had my own connectivity. The pool was great although the renovations were still on and we had to take an alternate but safe path.

Big, modern and comfortable rooms with sea view, 1 min. from the beach, 5 min. from center. Good breakfast, good and friendly service, very satisfied.

“Great Location - Great service.”

Very friendly and efficient service. Comfortable, clean and cheery room. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on food quality. Location was really central to eateries, beach and attractions. Public transport all nearby. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

“Interesting room”

Only stayed overnight as I was flying out of Gold Coast next day and had travelled from Sunshine coast. Parking could be an issue, however I parked just accross the street. The most interesting aspect was thet there was a window from the bedroom into the shower!! I opened the fridge to the minibar, but got charged for somethings I hadnt used, however they corrected this when I contected them.

“Great Position”

Really comfortable hotel in a great location - a couple of hundred metres to one of the best beaches in the world!! Very comfortable room, and great facilites.

“Great place”

Surfers is a great place, very touristy only critisismis that dining out options are not great cuisine. It's basically cheap pub grub but not great tast.
