Nice hotel, good location!Posted Oct 13, 2014
Pros: It was one of the cheapest rooms at the time. The pool was amazing (filled with kids) but still nice and my partner loved the gym facilities.
Cons: We were never told where the spare towels were located. More information at the front desk would have been beneficial.
Location: Great location, beach was a 2 minute walk, restaurants were just around the corner. Infinity and mini golf were also within walking distance.
Our room was nice, a bit smaller than expected but still comfortable. It was a great distance away from the beach and the main street. Perfect location for a bunch of 20 year old's who wanted to go out on the town each night. Unfortunately our air conditioner didn't work but we never followed it up!! They were quite flexible on check out time and staff seemed to accommodate as best they could being a long weekend/during school holidays.

Second visit, still love it.Posted Oct 13, 2014
Great view from the balcony, be sure to pay the little bit extra and get a high ocean view room. The room was light and spacious and we had a big comfy bed. It's in a great location, such good value for money in comparison to the other hotels in the same spot. The only criticism I could give would be that the shower head turns the bathroom into a bit of a wet room, but that's just me nit-picking. Love the place would definitely go back for a third visit!

Affordable hotel close to the beachPosted Oct 10, 2014
Cons: There isn't direct wheelchair access from the carpark, so you always need to be picked up out the front of the hotel.
We were very happy with the Outrigger at Surfers Paradise, it was an easy stroll to Cavill Mall and the beach. The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was clean, the pool facilities were great for young families as they have a shallow pool as well as a large pool and spa. Best of all, the price was very affordable, especially considering the long weekend.

Don't stay here on a Friday or Saturday nightPosted Oct 8, 2014
This is a lovely hotel, great staff, very nice room, but it is very near all the Surfers Paradise night clubs. Consequently when we stayed here on a Sat night we encountered a large bachelor party. Very rowdy, half naked men in the hallway, loud music, profanity well into the early hours of the morning (approx. 4am). Very disturbing especially as I was staying with my daughter. I requested another room at reception but the hotel was fully booked. On the positive side, the buffet breakfast the next morning was excellent.

Nice hotel close to the beachPosted Oct 7, 2014
Pros: The food and the cleanliness.
Location: Central Surfers and close to all amenities - beach, shopping, night clubs, restaurants, cafes, supermarket and convenience stores, tourist attractions
I enjoyed my stay at the Outrigger Surfers Paradise. It is very close to the beach (3 minutes walk) and there is an entrance from the hotel through to Orchid Ave, which meets Cavill Ave (7 minutes walk), the heart of Surfers. The facilities here are great. My room was clean, pleasant and inviting and the bed and pillows were comfortable. They have a large carpark adjacent to the hotel so there is plenty of parking. I stayed here for a Convention and the food in the restaurant is great! Spectacular in fact. Buffet style lunch with plenty of options including gluten free. I'd highly recommend a stay at this hotel.
