Perfectly situated for couples or families who want to be close to the city, but not in the middle of it all. Very clean and comfortable place. Quiet neighbourhood. Very friendly and helpful staff. Very reasonable price for the area.

The place was better than we expected. The room was clean with complete cooking facilities. The people were very nice and accomodating. Will highly recommend to anyone. One downside is that there is no bus stop directly outside the hotel, and you will need to walk 5 to 10 minutes to the main road to get to the nearest bus stop, and it will take you 15 to 20 minutes walk to Surfers Paradise. Also, no bus runs after 6 or 7 pm in this area. So if you don't mind walking, this is the place for you. If you have a car, then this won't be a problem.

“Peaceful Paradise”

In a quiet location with good security. Well equipped comfortable apartment and clean. Restaurants, shops, takeaways closeby and cheaper than on the main strip. Good place for a long stay.

Hotel turned out to be a great choice. Away from all the noise of the main beach, yet close enough to walk to. Wonderful friendly hotel staff. Room was comfortable with everything you would need to look after yourself!

An extremely well run & well maintained block of units chevron island has plenty of reasonably priced resteraunts& the main centre at cavell ave is in walking distance the unit was a good size & had a nice private balcony very quite area

“Good for a short break”

Generally, this is good place if you want to be a short walk from Surfers Paradise and don;t have a car. The staff are very understanding. We had missed our connection in Kuala Lumpur and Dianne was willing to move our booking by a day which was great. However, if you don't have your own wireless USB the "hotspot" wireless available at the resort is very expensive. The rooms , though very clean and well set up were much smaller than the pictures seemed to indicate and even though well located it is a little expensive compared to other areas. Even though there are lovely terraces the noise of the air conditioning makes them unpleasant to sit on . However, in cooler weather it would be okay. There is no view at all from any of the rooms as Paradise Isles is in a suburban street so the view is of the apartment next door or the street. It is well priced for Surfers but as we discovered when we got here there are nicer places further away right on the beach with great views. So - this place is good for a few days- and it is convenient to Surfers. But if you are coming for a longer holiday I suggest getting a place on the beach in a smaller town on the Gold Coast - which is not only cheaper but also significantly bigger.
