“Great for family holiday everything you need”

WE had a wonderful stay here. We have two babys and a 12 year old and found it great. THere were even toys in the room for the kids and water toys for the pool. The kitchen had everything you need and the room was lovely . The pool is great with a water slide for the kids. The beach is just there with a lagoon next door which is safe for babies. Close to the shops. The staff were helpful in booking our trip to seaworld . We would stay here again

“Fab location but proprty a bit tired.”

We spent a quick weekend trip to the Gold Coast with our daughter and 2 friends. We stayed in apartment 15A.....2 bedroom apartment. The views were absolutely amazing and the location of the Royal Palms is excellent if you or the kids like swimming. There is also a great pathway to ride or walk on and some council owned free exercise equipment. The property however is feather 'tired'. The pool is in the process of being fixed and it's great however the mini golf course has tears in the greens. Our room also had part of the ceiling falling away in the bathroom and the kitchen was quite dated however the appliances worked just fine. The ceilings are those swirled plaster from a few dcades ago. We had a car spot allocated to our apartment which was fine for just the 1 car we had however I don't think there was too much parking for an extra car. Due to the location of the property and the size of the rooms (with a TV in the lounge, the main bedroom AND one in the 2nd room) we would overlook the age of the property and definitely stay there again.

“Royal Palm”

The pool was warm and big enough for everyone to enjoy themselves. The only downside to this resort was that the entrance and exit of the parking lot was terrible as you had to make very sharp turns.

Pro's - Big clean rooms, great for families, million $ pool, great view and safe family environment throughout Cons - no in-house food only delivered, kids activities room cost money, N.B. Don't travel in Nov-Feb, as weather is WET

“Palm Beach hotel review”

The hotel is good and is next to the beach. Access to most facilities is easy.

“Nice stay”

Our appartment was nicely decorated, clean and roomy. Good equipment was available for any cooking or washing that was required. All round very good and noise from other guests was minimal.

“I would take my family again”

We spent 3 nights in this hotel with a family of 10, we had x2 standard 2 bedroom apartments. Great value and great sizes. The apartments have wonderful sea views but unfortunately don't have air con which was ok because we had a lot of sea breeze which was perfect. The swimming pool area was great, we had 3 young children and 2 teenagers in our party, so pool all day was fantastic. The surrounding area was great not too busy, just the right amenities around and still close enough to surfers. The staff are great and friendly, the only reason I marked down the overall stay is because our two apartments we booked were so far apart, one was on the 8th floor and the other on the 19th which was quite painful when co-ordinating kids yet I booked about 3 mths early, also the decor in one of the apartments needs updating, the other was fine, but I am not complaining about that, it was still great with amazing value and served a great purpose and I will definitely take my family there again.

“Not what I expected”

The hotel is situated close to beach , which is good if the weather is fine. When I was there, it wasn't beach weather ! The pool was under repair and walkways were cordoned off. The hotel rooms were a reasonable size but not well maintained and basically furnished. There is no room service (changing of towels etc) unless your stay is 10 days or more. Consequently we were washing towels and sweeping floors every 2 days. The office was not manned after 12 on Sunday and after 4pm during the week. Without a car it is expensive to take a family out as you need to catch the bus every time you go anywhere as it is not close to anything !
