“Nice Hotel”

Nice Hotel and the monorail to/from Sea World is fabulous!!! If staying for more than a couple of days, take the tour of the resort. Very courteous service.

“there better choices of accomodation in southport”

the only reson to stay in the sea world resort is it location near the sea world park. the room that we stayed in was a bitt small for a family of 2 adults and 2 children. we could not understand the logic behind the idea that 2 children age 3 and 6 could sleep in the same bad. the restaurants were full for dinner and the hotel did not tell us that we need to book a head. on sunday and monday the main restaurant is closed.

“Sadly the Gloss is fading...”

Staying at the Seaworld Nara is a good recommendation if you are intending to visit the park for the day as the convenience by monorail etc is undeniable. If however, you are looking at this hotel for a break just to relax I can't help to think you can do better. The hotel is showing it's age and could do with a complete overhaul. The rooms while fine, do need a make-over. The pool is nice but again feels outdated. We were forced to eat at the hotels most casual restaurant due to traffic jams at dinner time preventing us to drive anywhere after the park closed and the food was terrible. Took forever and no-one got a good meal- for the price, this was hard to pay! Overal convenience to park and one night stay is fine, but if i was looking to treat myself at these prices and spend more time actually at the hotel, i would look elsewhere for something newer.
