Surf Parade ResortPosted Sep 7, 2014
Close to Pacific Fair shopping centre, Draculars stage show, Jupiters Casino, Tram station, bus route , walking distance to Surfers Paradise. We have stayed there three times since 2001. Great place for rest by pool etc , spa and sauna and range of exercise equipment !

We really loved our stay at surf parade resort. Staff were helpful and friendly, and our room was great. All the facilities you need and we really liked having a spa bath!

Great convenient location, excellent facilitiesPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Great facilities and location was excellent
Surf parade was really nice, clean, friendly staff, great pool area. We had a nice apartment up high with sea view. Apartment block is handy to bus stop, theme park buses came right past the apartment.

Great location, great view, great stayPosted Aug 14, 2014
Having booked the hotel online and never sure if what you saw is what you'll get, this apartment complex was a delight. We had a top floor apartment with excellent views out to the beach and around the skyline. A very light and airy feeling gave the apartment a spacious welcoming appeal. Very, very enjoyable. The pool area was very well maintained with spa, gym, sauna and BBQ. A great resting place in the afternoon sun together with a dip in the heated pool.

Location great...central to where we had to visitPosted Aug 3, 2014
Pros: Location and free car parking
Cons: Was a little surprised that the provisions were not enough for the length of our stay.....milk, coffee, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, etc.
Location: Pacific Fair shopping centre, Cavill Avenue markets, long beach walks
Great accommodation for the length of our stay (7 nights). Easy access to most services, walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.

Wonderfull place to stay!Posted Jul 16, 2014
I would highly recommend staying here and would gladly stay there again. Resort was clean, had friendly staff, quiet and was close to the city and beaches! Great place!

Handy locationPosted Jun 4, 2014
It was good to have short walking distances to either Surfers or Broadbeach, plus it's on the main bus route to all the attractions. The downfall for our room was there wasn't any lighting onto the kitchen bench (which made cooking difficult), there was a problem with the sound on the tv and the shower was barely adequate.

Nice hotel close to the beachPosted May 18, 2014
Cons: Better blinds, ours had large gaps that let a lot of light through
Good location between surfers and broadbeach. Close to main bus routes so easy to get around the Gold Coast.

A little dated, but nice location and amenitiesPosted May 11, 2014
Pros: nice big room, tub with jets, parking garage, serviced apartment with lots of amenities
Cons: Some things need to be replaced/updated (mattress)
Location: Night market was a short walk, Sea world is a short drive, Movie World is still within 30 minutes.
Stayed here for a week during a less busy season in Gold Coast. The room was clean and decently equipped, but there were a few areas where it was obvious it was a bit dated. The mattress was very soft in certain areas, the TV was pretty small although it did rotate (so you could watch from the couch or the bed which were in separate rooms). They provide an oven but no oven mitts, kinda annoying to find out after you already started cooking. The tub was a bit cracked/worn out on the edges, but not like it leaked or anything. And oddly enough there almost wasn't enough head room, at 6'3" my head was nearly touching the ceiling while standing in the tub. (Expected this when I went to Tokyo, but not Australia). It's really a serviced apartment, not a hotel room. That wasn't entirely clear on the original booking, but we were fine with it. You get a washer/dryer, tub with jets, fridge, kettle, stove, oven, etc. Only one set of amenities (2 rolls of toilet paper/shampoo/coffee) if you want more you have to pay extra, or bring your own. I think they'll clean the room and restock if you're staying more than a week. WiFi is also limited/paid for (We just bought a prepaid SIM when we got to Australia). There's a covered parking garage which is locked by your room key (getting in and out of), which is nice because parking can be expensive in Australia. Overall a decent place for how much we spent, about a 15 minute walk to the night markets near the beach.
