Good bang for the buck and friendly staff.

Pros: The cost. The staff. The pool. The Hot Tub. The water slide. The continental breakfast was a bonus. The room was clean and as described.
Cons: We had to ask for enough towels for each of us to have our own, but it wasn't a problem getting extras when we did. Maid service was every other day
Location: It was a 10 to 15 minute drive to Kicking Horse. A 3 min drive to downtown. It was a 30 to 40 min drive to Roger's Pass.
For the cost it was a good experience. It was clean and had a fun pool and slide for my teenagers and a good size hot tub for me. We were there to ski and it was a short drive to Kicking Horse as described. I would stay there again.

Great hotel for families

We stayed in the family sweet with four queen beds , very comfortable , kids had a blast on the waterslide and pool! We will be back!

Great value

Nice pool, hot tub and water slide area but need to fix the pool area door so it closes properly... was a little cool in December! Rooms are comfortable and we had a nice view of the mountains. Free breakfast was a bonus. Overall great value and would stay there again.

Shady hotel in odd location

The hotel staff at the front desk were polite. But this is where the fun ended. The room had multiple appliances - most of which didn't work. Hair dryer, broken, television, broken, heater, worked but was extremely loud, bathroom fan, sounded like an airplane was taking off. The hotel was moderately clean but it could have been better. The cleaning staff were the worst. To see if some one was in the room, Instead of knocking, they would whisper room service (I only found this out when I was standing next to them) as they look in the window, if there was no immediate response they would charge on in. Overall the staff were terrible and did not treat customers with respect.

Close to Kicking Horse

Cons: New TV
Location: Kicking Horse mountain resort and the Wolf Wildlife Centre
Stayed here to ride Kicking Horse and to visit the Wolf Wildlife Centre. Room was clean and comfortable, all you need really. Biggest fail was the Tv, it was fuzzy on every channel.

Our location is great, we are located adjacent to Hwy 1, surrounded by restaurants and service stations yet one of the ONLY properties not to be right on the highway. We have recently updated to the newest HD channel lineup from Shaw and are currently updating our system. Thanks for noticing!

Dirty and not great for family with kids

Pool was cold and pool area was dirty- mud on floor and beer can on floor. Room was smelly. Breakfast area was messy and not a lot of options.

We choose that hotel for the waterslide and the pool. When we arrived, we soon realized that the pool area was dirty with absolutely no ventilation. Kinda disgusting!

Golden sleep over

Cold in room when arrived took long time to warm up. Carpets very unclean. Towels poor condition. No herb tea.
