Room was very clean snd tidy but beds were uncomfortable. Also we were unfortunate enough to have very noisy people in the room next to ours.

The disappointing thing was the bar fridge didn't keep our stuff cool and the freezer box didn't keep our ice blocks frozen.

Bathroom was very bright and clean although the basin had a crack in it and the water pressure was very poor. Comfortable bed but one bedside lamp was out. Fridge was an excellent size for self-caterers but no cutlery or plates, probably because they have a restaurant on site. Competition for parking spaces because of two-storey layout. Woken up by tradies with diesel utes setting out at 6.45. Good value and an indoor pool is an added feature.

The pool was an added bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We received an upgrade for a downstairs room which was very spacious.

Bricked walls made it super quiet. Super close to sovereign hill. Close to Main Street Ballarat. Room was nice and as advertised for a change.

The property was nothing like it showed online, I feel we got the worst room possibly because we booked through wotif and not directly with the motel. Water pressure was just a dribble so much so that I didn’t bother having a shower.

Pool was advertised as a main part of staying there. But it was unusable. The parking was chaotic. Having R/Arthritis etc. we need our car parked outside our door not having to choose a spot from any of the 30 odd parks. The staff were very helpful.

Staying in Ballarat was a last minute decision and I was lucky to find a room here. I was made very welcome and the upgrade to ground floor room was very much appreciated after having driven over 700km in 9 hours. The room was spacious and spotless and the bed very comfortable. The only thing missing was some milk. I expect some would have been provided if I had gone to the office and asked but I had some with me and was tired so used my own. I hope to stay here again soon as I'm a frequent visitor to Ballarat.

Overall the room was excellent, bed was very comfortable, however the Electric Blanket only worked on one side, disappointing when you come back feeling cold and have to get into a COLD bed. Also it would be good to have a plug in the hand basin !!

Make sure to take your own plates/bowls and cutlery. There is microwave, toaster and mini fridge - but kino fridge doesn't get overly cold.... and it was on 2 degrees

We arrived earlier than two, asked if possibility for early checkin. There wasn’t which was totally fine. But we arrived at check in time and our room still wasn’t available? They said it was busy? But there was only one staff member? The receptionist was also the room cleaner?? The bed was comfortable, but the furnishings were pretty gross, the bedside table looked like the paint was all peeling off, and looked like it has bubble gum on it. The garden out side area was pretty unkempt, there was pieces of pizza strewn on the path, gardens over grown. And the pool area was very very unappealing.. the roof part looked mouldy, the water cloudy. Overall I was disappointed. Especially for a comfort in. My kids were grossed out by the place which is saying something. (Sorry I didn’t take pics, my phone memory is full)

Not very inviting, needs new carpets,we had to put a towel at front door as we were chocking on the neighbour’s cigarette smoke in our room. But beds were comfortable had everything we needed for the night, and was very quiet during the night, but the front staff was very nice and very helpful.
