“Need a Fridge”

Not all King rooms have a refridgerator and microwave. These appliances should be included in all rooms.

The Jameson Inn in Goldsboro is a great value. It has the look and feel of a higher priced hotel. The staff is friendly and breakfast in the morning is a real treat. Most places put out a few donuts or bagels. The Jameson has a great variety from which to choose. We will be back next year.

“Fine for Goldsboro”

Pleasant, helpful staff. I tried to use a 'community' computer in the lobby area, but it didn't even have a browser loaded on it. BlackBerry got me through. Several fine eating establishments within a couple hundred yards.

“Quite Comfortable, Would Go Back.”

Stayed there for two nights, the staff was very helpful and polite. The room was nice, had a lovely huge king size bed, air conditioning worked well, had cable on TV. Linens were very clean and in neat order. Only concerns were that the elevators didn't have good upkeep. There was wood chips all over its floor, from where the wood paneling was going bad or peeling off, at the bottom of the elevator walls. The bathroom in my room really showed the hotels age, the toliet seat had bubbles in the vinyl on it, cracks, stains. Faucets, tub, sink, were stained as well. The carpet had large bleach-ish looking stains too, where the front door area is. If you can get past the looks, it's a comfy place to stay for a few nights. It's also right next door to an Outback Steakhouse! Definitely worth the money and not overpriced like a lot of hotels are, in the area.

“Not Impressed”

Our reservation called for a one bed king size, but they ended up giving us a double. We stayed at another hotel a week later in the same area and it was 35 dollars cheaper, the room and hotel were nicer and larger. And they gave us what we asked for the first time.

“Poor Customer Service”

When I first arrived at the desk, the customer service manager asked me to waited 2 minutes so she could finish some paperwork. There were no other guest at the front desk. So I couldn't understand why she wouldn't stop and check us in. Once we were in our room we realized one of our blankets was dirty. There was a pink substance dried up and crusted on the blanket. My 5 year old found a half a soda bottle on the side of the bed. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed. I don't think they were cleaning the rooms at all. Breakfast was supposed to start at 6 am. There was no coffee until almost 9. The staff seemed irritated if you asked them a question. I do not reccommend this hotel if you're looking for a clean place to sleep with a friendly staff.

“Disappointed”

I arrived and the receptionist was on a personal phone call and kept me waiting approximately 5 minutes before she assisted me. I requested a special room when I made the reservation, but she did not have that type room available.

“DIRTY”

This hotel is dirty. I would not go back there.
