“Good value for the money”

This is not a 4 or 5 star hotel, so I suppose that is why it is rated only 2 of 5 stars. I usually stay at a higher level motel, but we waited until the last minute and could not find a room in the chains that we usually stay in. I think for the price this was a good value, the room was older but clean, the free breakfast was very good, and the staff was very friendly. For what it is, I think this motel performed very well.

“Close to what we wanted to see.”

We only stayed one night and this hotel was perfectly adequate. We stayed here for convenient location and good price. Don't expect the Ritz, but it's fine.

“Good for the money”

This hotel was nice for the money. There were many more, but more expensive. We were up there for a soccer tournament. It has an outdoor pool, but was closed due to weather. There are a lot of food places nearby. They have a breakfast that I was suprise with. It was nice. I would stay there again.

“Nashville hotel”

Hotel staff was very friendly. I had to extend my stay one more night and the process was very easy with expedia and the hotel did not have to move me. On the negative side the phone in the room was old and the 0 button did not work well to call the front desk. It kept getting stuck. For the price it was in a great location with alot of places to eat really close and only about 15 min from downtown Nashville. I would stay there again.

“Satisfactory”

Staff was friendly. Continental breakfast was adequate, but not impressive. Building was older, but well kept. Location was good - close to grocery store, malls, restaurants.

“Perfect spot to stay in”

Expedia helped us find a great hotel in a nice section of Memphis for a great discount price. Close to shopping, restaurants, and interstate. Will definitely book this hotel again when traveling in the area. Continental breakfast was hot and fresh. Clean and comfortable bed.

Area recommendations

Just a few minutes from Beale Street, the FedEx Center, and the river. Absolutely beautiful. About 20 minutes from Graceland.

Must check out the Neely's BBQ in Memphis. Real comfort food.

“pleasantly surprised”

This was a great little hotel - so clean I thought we might have been the first person to ever use the room til I noticed a scuff in the paint on the refrigerator. No pool, but this is a lovely hotel if you need a place to lay your head. Best value for the price that I have ever encountered in a hotel. Thank you Best Western. You won't find a value like that in Nashville or Bowling Green.

“Disappointment for the kids”

I picked this hotel specifically because they had an indoor pool. My kids were excited about that. Unfortunately, they never got to swim. Although the pool is very large, they had a rule that only five people could swim at a time. We waited for our turn, but the hotel staff came and shut down the pool entirely, because other people kept getting in even though they were over the limit. In addition, I found the staff to be very cold and distant in their interactions. I felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there. Also, I found the 3:00 check-in very inconvenient. Why so late? We had to drive around all day with our things in our van. Not a very good place to stay.
