The hotel had clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast area had a nice varity of foods. The staff was friendly and courteous.

I'd been warned not to stay here, because it's not a great neighborhood, but I didn't feel it was that bad. The bed was VERY comfortable, the room had a refrigerator & coffee maker, and there was a decent continental breakfast daily. I would stay here again if I had business at the base.

This Days Inn has recently been renovated . The room with double beds was quite large and very comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to our needs. Cute breakfast area. And a good price for the room.

“Excellent base to visit Charleston”

As part of our trip around North and South Carolina we wanted to go to Charleston but not to stop in the town. We chose to stay at Goose Creek and it was an excellent decision. The rooms were of a reasonable standard, comfortable with all the things that we wanted as a base for our 4 night stay. From here it was easy to access the city and areas such as Mount Pleasant. Try the bus tour around Charleston and the harbour cruise is a must. We went May 2012, the temperatures were unbearable for a British person but that did not spoil our stay. Visit the market and look at the Sweet Grass baskets. Try the excellent food in Poogan's Porch in Queen Street (Poogan was the family dog) it is very good and judging by the number of people there, very popular.

Stayed at Goose Creek Days Inn while visiting my daughter, stationed there for the Navy. Close to base, near restaurants and shopping. Convenient.

It's a good place to stay if you want to be close to the naval base...not the nicest hotel, but it serves its purpose
