Quite comfortablePosted Oct 3, 2013
Pros: Neighbor meeting place
Cons: Better food choices.
Location: By the Burren, so lots of walks.
Large room, decent food, quite and the only place close to our destination.

Somewhat charmingPosted Sep 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was somewhat charming. The bathroom was nice, the bed was good, there was some things that were a little dated, but overall it was good. The hotel does not have air conditioning so I had to sleep with the windows open (there are a lot of lights outside and there were some noisy bar patrons). But once I popped in some ear plugs and put on a sleep mask it was all good.

The Lady Gregory Hotel has it all!!Posted Aug 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
We chose the Lady Gregory Hotel because of a pleasant lunch we had there a couple of months before this stay. We were interested in seeing some of Yeats' old stomping grounds, so the Lady Gregory was a natural choice. We were not disappointed! The hotel is beautiful and a great value. The friendly staff was well trained and obviously take pride in working at this lovely hotel. Yeats' tower was closed, unfortunately, but still worth seeing from the outside, including the riverside setting. Coole park is wonderful, you could spend all day there on the walking trails and in the Visitors' Center.

I thought the room and bathroom were very comfortable. However I did not appreciate the aromas in the restaurant/bar.....couldn't eat there. this area needs a complete overhaul.
