What a great place!

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Yes. There should be more hotels like this.
Location: Don't know and don't care. We had too much fun at the hotel.
Totally charming little hotel. Delightful owners. Super breakfasts.

In beautiful Goshen

Posted Dec 6, 2014
Pros: Innkeepers were very accommodating.
Cons: Better coffee.
Location: Goshen is close to Lexington, Virginia, but the Goshen area itself is beautiful and fit for hiking, hunting, and fishing.
Loved staying at this inn again after 12 years. The innkeepers are very hospitable and the room was cozy and comfortable! I also enjoyed the breakfasts, which were substantial and tasty.

When you want to get away...

Posted Jul 12, 2014 on Hotels
Charming owners, great place, definitely "in the middle of nowhere", but a good spot as a base for those who want to get out and explore various parts of the George Washington National Forest, as well as just to relax and have some down time. Only negatives - there's only one place to eat in town, a very basic diner, and the trains which pass at irregular hours day and night, rumbling through and shaking the building.
