The hotel was closed when I arrived despite informing late arrival. Had to wait outside for 3 hrs from midnight till 3.00 am as I was unable to contact anyone or meet any person in the whole Airport. I arrived in a taxi from Gothenburg City Centre and had to wait with my bags. Was instructed to use the rear door of the hotel and it was locked. No bell to ring or phone to contact the staff. Managed to ring the emergency button in an elevator and explained my plight. As there was no response after a few hours, I requested the person to ring a mobile phone written on the door. Then only was provided the door code to enter. Then I got the instructions to enter hotel and that note gave the door code but kept inside the hotel door without access. Next morning I found out that there was only 1 person working in the hotel. He makes breakfast, look after reception and clean the rooms. Breakfast is served late and I missed it many days as my conference starts at 8.00 am during my 5 night stay. Public transport only 1 bus per hour and it takes 45 min to 1 hr to Goto Tower Conference Hall.
I was happy as the people are nice and it is a safe place to visit. I did not have any fear as I had to cross the woods when it was dark and raining to reach the hotel from bus stop.

I would recommend this hotel if a) You just want somewhere basic to sleep for the night. b) You dont mind the 10 minute bus journey to/from the centre of Gothenburg. Expedia has it as a 4 start hotel but in my opinion a 3 star would be more appropriate.

There is nothing fancy about this hotel. But as hotels go in Gothenburg it is pretty good for the price. The staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast is plentiful and tasty, and they have free wifi. Five minutes walk from bus/tram that takes you over the bridge into city center, so very convenient without a car.

Room was a bit tired with marks on walls, also shower stuck between hot + very hot.
Reception was largely un-manned, staff weren't overly helpful (however staff in petrol station next door were great for advice/directions)
Short walk (2-3 mins) to Gron Express (bus to + from Gothenburg), transport very good!
Overall not bad considering Gothenburg prices, good if you just want a base to shower/sleep, maybe not suitable for lone travellers.

We went to Gothenburg for four days and booked the Radisson Blu Riverside hotel mainly because of the reviews that we had read on Expedia. Having now stayed there, I can confirm that those reviews are accurate.
We thoroughly enjoyed the City and the hotel was very nice. It is clean, modern, the staff are ultra-helpful and the buffet breakfast is excellent and extensive.
The hotel is located on the other side of the river from the main city (which is where tourists would want to visit) and is located in a science (business) park BUT we actually liked where it was located. By far the best way to get to the hotel is by the ferry that runs from down near the Stenna line - which is free to use when the green flag is flying on the boat (which is during the daytime, I think). You need to get the ferry to Linholmspiren. Alternatively, you can get a No.16 bus from near Nils Ericsson bus terminal (at the bus stops across the road) which drops you about 100m from the hotel.
We loved getting the ferry.
The standard rooms in the hotel are quite compact but this wasn't a problem to us, as they are modern, clean, well soundproofed and have great showers.

Rooms very spacious, immaculate, front desk staff very helpful & kind.
Kök restaraunts was the only downfall-- busy & understaffed, staff seemed stressed, rude & not overly helpful, pasta was flavorless but ceasar salad was excellent.
