Amazing long stay during the World Juniors. The staff, the breakfastS, the large lobby area, fast elevators were magnificent. Easy to walk to the downtown, but there are buses & trams as well. Numerous restaurants close by. The only negative is the gym … small, no view and hot.

We stay at Upper House often and since we were busy during the last days of our stay, we decided to move down to Gothia Towers as we would not have time to enjoy the spa upstairs. Gothia towers is meant to be a star less, but it felt like a 2 star hotel or less. Basebord coming off walls in room, water damage and dirty room. I was so disappointed and regretted so much not Staying at Upper House.

Quite possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in & I have stayed in a few - staff were really attentive & welcoming - Great selection at breakfast, wonderful bar on the 23rd floor overlooking the city / stadium / Rollercosters & wheel. Won’t stay anywhere else in Gothenburg when I return - thank you.

Where do I begin? From the unnecessarily long check in (despite pre checking in online), to extremely tight room, to poor quality of towels and bed sheets (as if this was a transient motel), to empty shampoo and shower gel bottles, to nonexistent “amnesties (available by way in advance booking!),to overpriced services ($75 for 20 min massage). Gothia Towers is a ripoff. It’s a great location though.

Hotel is very clean and at a convenient location. The top floor restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is good and the view is unbeatable. Breakfast is excellent and I especially like their to-go breakfast for early checkout. Will stay there again.

Great Hotel!
Great anniversary staycation! The hotel is pretty crowded, even in the off-season, but it didn’t really bother us. Was very impressed with the hotel breakfast and will be back!
