“Great Location”

This hotel was perfect for a short break in Gothenburg. The central location meant everywhere was easily reached by foot and it was also just a 2 minute walk from Central Station, where the airport bus dropped you off!! Highly Recommended!

“Perfect hotel for a long weekend”

Pretty rooms, kindly crew, free & easy-to-connect wireless internet, fantastic - and really very large! - breakfast. Attention for my special needs: no allergenic garnish on the buffet breakfast, there was gluten- and lactose-free bread at breakfast & in the restaurant.

“Great Location, Good Value.”

I was in Sweden with a couple of pals to watch my team [who will remain nameless] play a couple of pre-season friendlies. We purposefully chose this hotel as a base as it was extremely near to the central station [so we could buzz around Eastern Sweden] and the city bars. Further, we didn't reckon any other football fans would stay here,they'd go someone a little cheper and off strip. We were right. Rooms varied, some had plasma screens, others didn't but overall a typically good quality hotel of this part of the world and budget. If it's laughs and bonhomie you wan't from the hotel staff---go to New York!! But they're pleasant enough, polite and very efficient. We're gonna be playing here again next season---and we'll stay here again.

“First Class choice to stay”

Excellent choice to stay at just a short walk from the train station, and very close to the cities many shops, cafes and the harbour. Hotel is sleek and modern, my room was very comfortable, large and modern looking down upon the atrium were breakfast and meals are served. Breakfast includes an excellent selection of food, only problem being with so many guests breakfast time is really busy. Had to que for the lifts to go down and then hunt for a table despite their being three rooms open for breakfast. Saw quite a few examples of table snatching be warned.

“great hotel”

The Scandic Crown is a great hotel. The buffet breakfast was amazing with a huge selection of hot and cold foods. The family rooms were spacious and the staff were very helpful. The secure overnight parking was a bit expensive.

“Great Location and Good Value”

Only 5 minutes from the Nils Ericson Bus terminal (where the airport bus drops you) and Central Station. For my friends and I who had tickets to see IFK Gothenburg play, it was ideal as it was virtually next door to the stadium! With regard to the facilities, there was a good selection for the breakfast, which was regularly topped up. However, whilst we stayed there was an issue with the spa so were unable to take in the rooftop view of Gothenburg from the spa. Also, we encountered some issues with the bar, in that it wasn't open after 10pm, but we could buy beer from the reception.(?)

“Good Central Location”

They let us check in early and were generally helpful. Nice sauna and relaxation centre. Short walk to central station and major tram stops.

“Centrally located”

This hotel offers an accessible base as it is centrally located ( once you get your bearings !) with the central station less than 5 mins walk. The standard of our room was excellent with plenty of space as we were a family of 3. The breakfast buffet was superb & nicely presented.

“Good and convenient hotel”

If you go to Goeteborg this hotel is an excellent choice. A block away from the train station and located close to any of the city's main spots, this hotel offers comfortable rooms with all the fundamental services a hotel should offer. Breakfast is also good and there is free internet. Only thing I am not a fan of is the bathroom which, as in many european hotels, has an akward shower that does nothing to avoid water from spilling all around the bathroom.

“Scandic Crown”

The hotel was overall very nice, especially the lobby and breakfast area. One bad point was our room was overlooked by other rooms, and we could not open the windows. Without air conditioning, this meant the room got quite warm!
