Posted Jul 18, 2014
Great hotel clean rooms and the staff is fantastic, the rooms are very small, but that is common in Europe, definetely a hotel to stay. Its near the train station and walking distance from downtown.

Location was excellent and a great breakfast.

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Location and breakfast.
Location: Ullevi, Avenyn Blvd and Liseberg.
We would rent again. Breakfast was fantastic; great variety fresh and tasty. The only complaint we had was when we ordered a wake-up call after our last night stay, the call never came. I just happened to wake up early that morning so we still had time to return the rental car and get to the airport in Landvetter on time.

Clean hotel, great value

Posted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: Cleanliness, efficient design, great breakfast.
Cons: Tissues
Location: 10-15 mins walk from town. Most major sights were within walking distance
Tiny room which was so well laid out that the two of us were able to live in it comfortably.

nice hotel with really cool sauna

Posted May 8, 2014
It's not directly in the center but close. I liked it a lot. The sauna is awesome, like in a posh spa.

Outskirts

Not bad. Room was super small but we only needed it for a night to sleep in a bed. Pillows were low and bed was a bit small for 2 people, and my boyfriend kept hogging the covers all night since the comforter was basically only meant for 1 1/2 people and not for 2, if that makes sense. No real issue with cleanliness. Our keys didn't work when we got there so the guy was nice and gave us new keys and came up with us to make sure they worked the second time. FREE PARKING WAS AWESOME. Tram stop was 5 minutes away by foot and very easy to get to.

Dear guest, thank you for your review. We do have a few very small rooms with one 120cm bed, that can be used by 2 persons, but I can very much understand if you experience it as very small. I´m glad the receptionist helped you work out the key issue, it does happen sometimes, but luckily not very often. I´m sorry about that. We hope to see you again. Shame about the noise

Posted Dec 17, 2013 on Hotels.com
Very modern well maintained rooms. Could be a bit too cosy for some in terms of size. It is in a residential/office building area with zilch nearby. There is a tram station meaning only a couple of stops to central station. The road noise is pretty loud from an overpass - meaning it will affect all floors. In addition, the building work involves a concrete drier that hums 24/7. Food was okay, and staff okay too.

Dear guest, thank you for your review. We have a six different roomtypes to choose from so hopefully we can offer something for everybody. The hotel is situated close to a busy road, which is why we now change all windows facing that road. 2/3 of the windows are changed, and the rest will follow as soon as the weather allows it. I am sincerely sorry that you were disturbed by the building works, and I will for sure let them know to prevent this from happening again. We hope to see you again! Good Place to see Gothenberg

Posted Dec 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is very nice, clean, with average sized rooms for Europe. Breakfast buffet was very good, including eggs, bacon, sausage, waffle, and all the usual accompaniments. They have an in house restaurant which was useful for after touring dinner. Price was fair. This is one of the few hotels in the area for which some limited parking available in garage. On street is available too with small payment. Would go here again.

Good hotel, not so good location

Posted Nov 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
Genreally this was a good hotel. The rooms were comfortable, the staff were reasonably helpful. The breakfast was ok, although the hot food choices were a bit limited. However, the location was a bit iffy. It was only about 3 tram stops away from the centre of town, but it was in a mostly industrial area with very little to see or do, and hardly any shops, and was facing a motorway. If you can handle that, then it's a fairly reasonable hotel at an affordable price.

Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. We serve a Scandinavian breakfastbuffét, which tradtionally is more limited in hot Foods. Still there are always bacon, egg, scrambled egg and sausages available, and sometime we add meatballs. The hotel is in deed located in an area which is transforming from an office area to be more residencial, and an area that will see a lot of changes in the years to come. We hope to see you at our hotel again. Kind regards Terese Wibeck General Manager

The hotel staff were very accommodating and did not hesitate to move me to a new room when I complained about some electrical buzzing noise in my room. The breakfast buffet was fantastic! The neighborhood is slightly out of the way but it seems to be a new development, so over time it will likely become much more vibrant.
