Conference Hotel

Posted Jun 29, 2014
The MVL (Most Valuable Life) Hotel is ideal if you are attending a conference in the huge Kintex Centre although they are not physically connected requiring a short walk or a ride on the not frequent enough shuttle bus. About an hour from the airport and slightly more than that to get down town, I'm not sure why you'd stay in this area if you weren't attenting an event in Kintex.

MVL hotel was in a very quite area which i really enjoyed it, but it's located still close to a lake, shops, restaurants and water park etc... MVL breakfast ends 9 30, was too early for us , we never made it while staying. so this area saved our breakfast. i think MVL hotel has a great potential even to become a greater hotel when some of the staffs get used to their job with more confident.

Great Hotel and convenient to KINTEX

Posted Oct 23, 2013
Cons: Internet service needs some serious work.
This hotel is in a good location and close to KINTEX and a very nice shopping mall and many good restaurants. The hotel has wifi, but almost impossible to stay connected if you are using a SSL connection. I had to go down the street to Starbucks just to download email from my company server. Staff is wonderful and friendly.

Close to Kintex

It was really great. There is staff that speaks perfect English so communication wasn't an issue. Although when I first checked in, the lady was kinda droll. It was more humorous than anything else. The hotel is super close to Kintex Exhibition 2, less than 10 mins by walking. They also have a shuttle to the subway stop too, so that's great if you want to get into the city. The hotel is also a 5 min walk to a nearby mall with lots of cheap eats. The hotel food is good, but again super pricey. Just go to the mall. All in all a great stay. The toiletries were fancy fancy: L'Occitane and the rooms were immaculate.

Comfortable beds and blackout curtains!

Very comfortable beds and rooms. Nice big showers. Very fast, free wifi. Good shopping and restaurants nearby, but not much else. Not very convenient for sightseeing, but great place to relax. Food is very expensive, but there are enough restaurants nearby to counter that.

Great stay

Posted Aug 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel is brand new so really clean and nice. The rooms are not big but sufficient. Didnt eat at any of the restaurants but there is a mall (Onemount) very close to the hotel that has great eating options for reasonable prices. Taxis are really cheap as well. Ilsan is not Seoul but since we were staying in Ilsan to be near family, it made the most sense and we are happy to finally see a five star hotel in the neighborhood. Welcome addition to the town. Pool is small but there is a huge water park right in the mall so that should work out for those of you who want to swim. Never made it to the gym. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely go back.

Great for buiness but no close amenities

Posted May 21, 2013
Pros: Staff and service superb. This is a very new hotel and state of the art everything. Cons: No conveniences close, but new shopping areas being built approximately 0.5 kilometers away. Breakfast was $36.00 USD...yikes!

NEW, VERY CLEAN, FRIENDLY BUT EXPENSIVE

Posted Apr 29, 2013
Pros: Clean friendly staff
Cons: Food drink prices
Location: Business at Kintex only
Rooms good size – staff are very friendly and helpful. But it’s only for business people because there is nothing there except KINTEX (Korean main trade fair expo buildings). The hotel sits in big empty fields – nothing else – no shops (nothing except fields). And don’t eat or drink in the hotel – the prices are not on this planet. ($25 for a hamburger & $120 for a normal bottle of $25 bottle of wine). This hotel if designed for business people who have a company expense account – families & tourists give it a miss. For business people who are going to KINTEX its ideal, but eat at KINTEX or you will blow your expense account apart.
