Great location --- the tallest building in the city and located at the narrowest point of Las Palmas city. Ask for a room from 12th floor up, great little touches, minibar free, coffee and pastries available in the lounge and free water available at the pool. The location of the pool is stunning ---- on the roof 25 floors up!! --- Astounding views over the city, two bays and the harbour.

“Carnaval 2009 - Las Palmas”

I visited Gran Canaria to experience the carnaval. I stayed in 2 hotels for 2 weeks, first in the southern part of the island and later at AC Gran Canaria. I found this hotel ideally situated for the event. The parade passed by behind the hotel, Plaza Sta. Catalina is a block away, the Global Bus stations is about 2 blocks away which I took from Maspalomas, Muelle is nearby, Playa de las Canteras is about 6 small blocks. The hotel so clean, smelled very nice upon check-in. The cleanliness was maintained throughout my stay of almost a week. Breakfast was served for a long period of time typical breakfast for a business hotel. I had dinner at the restaurant but was not very satisfied with the food and the choices. I preferred the restaurants at the Playa de las Canteras. I would recommend this hotel as long as you can ignore the outside appearance of the hotel. I don't think it does justice to what the hotel offers inside. The staff(concierge and maintenance) were extremely accommodating and friendly. Please note that there is a lift on the right side of the building if you have heavy luggage.

The airline was better than expect, the hotel was excellent. The area and beach was great... But many of the bars and all the clubs were shut and closed down. Meaning an expensive taxi drive to another part of the island for decent night life.

“A few block from Las Canteras Beach”

The hotel is very well located in the center of the (capital) city Las Palmas, and just a few blocks away from Las Canteras Beach, and the city square. It has a rooftop pool with a nice view over the city. The hotel staff was very friendly, and helpful with providing information (like bus schedule to the airport).

“Excellent Stay, Great Location, Fantastic Views!”

This hotel is great! I had a fantastic view of the harbour from the 17th floor and all rooms have a balcony which is also amazing. The room size was good and the bathroom, although a little small, had an amazing shower. The room was immaculate every day and the mini-bar is included in your tariff so you always have a beer to greet you in the afternoon and there is also bottled water and soft drinks. This is a first for me (outside of all inclusive hotels). As soon as you close your balcony door, there is silence which is great if you 're a light sleeper. The rooms have blackout blinds if you need them so you can really get a good night's sleep. The staff were fantastic, they all spoke English well and accommodated my every request. The gym & rooftop pool are very well maintained and very clean. The hotel suppies beach towels for a $10 deposit that is refundable when you return the towels. They will change them over as many times as you need. The location is amazing - 2 min walk from a shopping mall which you can see easily from your balcony. Also you are 3 mins walk from the waterfront. On the way to the waterfront there is a Spar Supermarket where you can get everything you need including alcohol. I had an amazing stay and will stay there in my next trip.

“Its a nice place for Hollidays.”

I just have one complaint of the hotel, and consists in the price collected by a brakfast on it. The hotel collect 15 Euros for a middle rated breakfast, and two or three blocks ahead, in front of a beatiful beach, served on a table covered by a colored umvrella, better one is priced 6 Euros. The hotel is losing noney tath way, and losing point at the time of calculate benefict to retorn there.

“Amazing place, perfect chill out break!”

I loved this hotel, it was rally good. A great location and a great room. It was big, clean and airy with a nice balcony. The room was cleaned daily and the bathroom was lovely too. I will definitely go back very soon. Only problem was my travel partners constant snoring....

“Hotel: Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Spain”

The hotel is so easy to find and has simply a superb location with everything you need so close to it. Its look from the outside is perhaps a little bit strange but DO NOT let that put you off as it is so modern inside and fitted out to a very high specification, everywhere is clean and tidy and the staff are so friendly and keen to help you all the time it is in Santa Catalina which is right next to Las Palmas only about 5km so if you are getting the bus from the airport it is only 2.5 euros and takes about 25 minutes but remember to get off at Santa Catalina which is about 7 minutes from Las Palmas and once you come up out of the bus station you see the hotel as its 4 minutes walk away. You get a fridge in your room which is stocked daily at no cost to you, 2 beers and the other 10 items are made up of water and soft drinks which is a really good idea, and there are also fridges of water at the swimming pool and fitness centre where you can just help yourself anytime. There is a swimming pool and sun terrace on the roof (25th floor) which is a great little place to chill out at. The beach is only 10 minutes walk and you can’t get lost finding it plus there are lots of places to eat and drink everywhere, there is a marvellous square full of cafe bars and shops and it’s a great place to eat and drink, all the people are friendly and welcoming to visitors. Use the bus service as you can travel all over the island for only a few euros; prices in general are very cheap.
