Nice hotel a few minutes from the beach

Pros: Good value, easy access from the bus station and the beach. Restaurants and bars in abundance nearby.
Cons: Might need a little bit of sprucing up but it's generally good
Location: Five minute walk to the beach and it's across the road from the bus station - the airport bus (L60) stops there. It's a working town lots nearby
The AC hotel is a good chain - I've used them several times in different places and I think they provide a good service. However, I have noticed an erosion of services over the years since the Marriott have taken over. There's no more free bar nor water bottles in the gym area. Also, you pay full price for a double room even if you're travelling alone. That aside, it is good value and I'd go there again.

Location: Du kan göra allt inom 10min gångavstånd från hotellet
Underbar utsikt över hamnen(21 vån) och rent och fint. På minussidan är det bara något för hårda sängar.

Location: Bada, äta gott, shopping. Taxi och stadbussar på mycket nära håll.
Korrekt reception. I övrigt rätt så opersonligt. Rummen är som tårtbitar. Toa placerad i en trång hörna. Restaurangen näst högst upp har fin utsikt, men påtagligt underdimensionerad för frukosten. Borden räcker inte till. Omständiga påfyllningsstrategier så att gästerna fick vänta onödigt länge när juicen, pålägget, glasen etc tagit slut. Underdimensioneringen av lokalen stressar personalen. Det har sina risker att tillfälligt lämna bordet för att hämta t ex juicen som äntligen har kommit. Då sitter det nya gäster vid bordet. Allt i allt: Mariott lever här inte upp till sitt namn.Vi har bott i ett antal Mariott Hotell världen över med goda erfarenheter, men i Gran Canaria är hotellet inte värd mer än 3 stjärnor.

Excellent hotel in all aspects

Cons: The hotel restaurant food was so so.
Location: Mainly the oceanfront. The city was easy to get around in by bus.
We stayed for a week and found the rooms elegant, the location terrific (5 minute walk to the beach) and the staff excellent. When we discovered a plumbing problem in our room the staff had us moved to a new room in 10 minutes. They were continually helpful and cheerful, such as when printing our boarding pass and providing me with a tool I needed for my bicycle. Highly recommended.

bad plumbing!

The hotel was everything one could want except for the really bad plumbing. The first room we were offered smelt so bad we asked for another room, which was better but not great. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast great. However, I would not stay again until they fix their plumbing problem.

rezeptionist beim check in sehr unfreundlich, lage ok ca 5 gehminuten zum strand bzw 10 min zum kreuzfahrthafen preis für leistung hoch kostenloser flughafentransfer nur zu fixen zeiten zimmer mit meerblick sehr schön

Great views in clean comfortable rooms

Location: Near Las Canteras beach - maybe the best in Gran Canaria. Lovely sand, protected bay with reef rocks to protect.
Stayed on 16th floor with great views of the Las Canteras beach - the reason to go to the hotel if you are on holiday - which is a 5 minute walk. Rooms are spacious but no room safe and no kettle. Beds are very comfortable and there is a small easy chair and desk with chair if you want to work. Wif-fi is not free - surprising and disappointing in a 4 star hotel, or come to that anywhere. Did not breakfast but ate in the restaurant at lunch - limited menu but very good. Ate Christmas Eve dinner - 4 excellent courses and so I conclude that the restaurant is probably good for dinner. Experience of staff a bit mixed - one grumpy and unhelpful receptionist and a distinctly angry waitress - but on the whole I would say they were helpful.

Zentral mit Aussicht

Das Hotel ist fuer Kurzaufenthalte ideal. Fuer längere Aufenthalte eher nicht, da Businesscharakter. Es liegt zwischen Hafen und Stadtstrand mir sehr guter Verkehrsanbindung. Äusserlich ein Betonturm, jedoch Innen ganz OK mit Restaurant in oberer Etage und Wahnsinnsaussicht.
