The hotel is the best we have stayed inPosted Sep 14, 2014
Pros: I liked everything about thus hotel
Cons: Nothing for my needs
Location: Location not far from the airport there was a lack of things to do which was a shame there was limited places of interest ok for a lazy beach holiday
We had a week here , it's close to the beach , it's very clean and friendly , it's a lazy experience in this part , if you like to lounge around it's for you , we didn't find a great deal of places of interest yet had some amaizing walks and then found a huge variety of places to eat . The weather was very hot so a plunge in the sea was a must , the hotel offered a roof terrace with a pool and jacuzzi which also helped to cool down , it's not a huge pool but good for a dip .

Nice modern hotelPosted Jun 8, 2014
Great hotel with large modern rooms. Breakfast is excellent! Cleaning service very good. In room tea & coffee with free water is very good. Newspapers in foyer in the morning. Roof top pool and jaccuzi very nice, I expect will be busy during peak times quiet this week. Literally 2 minute walk from beach and promenade. Ate in restaurants but expensive on beach strip €100 for 3 course meal with wine for 2, the most expensive we have paid, even charged us for ! You will be impressed with Best Western and very good value but don't expect a view or a balcony.

Didn't ask for a smoking roomPosted May 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
But was given a smoking room that reeked. Should have asked for a different room. Also parking is not in site but it's a walk down the street. Restaurant was decent.

A 2 day stay following 5 days in Puerto RicoPosted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The welcoming committee!
Location: The beach and promenade with an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants. We had a visit to the old town on an open top bus which we enjoyed.
We arrived in Las Palmas following 5 days on the south of the island. Very busy city centre but with a beautiful beach. The car park location was unclear on the details so I phoned the hotel for clarification. Although the receptionist spoke English I struggled to ascertain if the car park was attached to the hotel or at a separate location and felt the receptionist was losing patience. We were told it was a 24 hour car park on the same street as the hotel with a special rate linked with the hotel. The hotel address is Calle Sagasta but the car park is on the street at the back (not Calle Sagasta) of the hotel which was a bit confusing. We eventually found it and the checked into the hotel. The same receptionist wasn't very welcoming with no hint of a smile which continued throughout our stay. This is the only negative comment about the hotel. It was in a brilliant location, the room was adequate and the price we paid was very reasonable.

Efficient servicePosted Mar 10, 2014 on Hotels.com
Helpful reception-unfortunately like many hotels , a single person pays a full room rate yet gets a small room in a corner!! This also had a very small window so was quite gloomy

Convenient, comfy and clean hotelPosted Feb 2, 2014
Pros: The staff where extremely friendly and helpful. Also answering our question in English wasn't an issue.
Cons: The hot tub and swimming pool facilities. It all looked lovely and clean but the pools where not heated.
Location: Short walk from the beach and we highly recommend El Macaroni for some good food.
The hotel is ideally located if you want a beach holiday close to the city.

Weekend stay for the Gran Canaria marathonPosted Jan 28, 2014
Pros: Helpful reception staff.
Location: Close to promenade and numerous restaurants.
Hotel clean and services fine. Not luxury, but perfectly adequate. A good breakfast selection. Hotel pool and jacuzzi on roof was freezing despite weather being very warm. Could do with some heating. Room not massive, but three beds squeezed into a double room. Overall, an enjoyable stay for the price.

Nice hotel close to the beach and cruise terminalPosted Jan 20, 2014
Pros: This hotel is two blocks from the beach and is a 20 minute walk to the cruise terminal. That was ideal for our pre-cruise stay.
The roof top pool has a great view and is an excellent place to get some sun. There are plenty of good restaurants along the beach where you can eat outside just a few blocks from the hotel. The staff is friendly and efficient. There is free wifi. We arranged an airport transfer through the hotel, which was efficient and cheaper than a taxi.
