Stayed on first floor new rooms - first 2 days had no air con, this was repeatedly worked on and eventually started to work however very weak. The bed was very comfortable however extremely tight to get into and out of. The gap was so tight had to walk sideways and brush against the tv mounted in the wall. The molten brown toiletries were in short supply and never replenished. Both the containers in the shower cubicle were empty. The free water was a nice touch however after asking for a bottle opener twice when it got delivered to the room it was removed the next day.
The beach towels were very nice quality but then swapped out day 2 for cheaper version.
I over all thought the room wasn’t value for money.
Breakfast - amazing, quality of food, service outstanding
Pool bar- again service amazing, retired snacks but wasn’t impressed, drinks expensive but well presented
Reception- friendly and helpful
My biggest issue was the spa and indoor pool which had to be booked in advance and at an extra cost. I don’t see any mention of this on Expedia and clearly says spa access
Not sure why you pay for a spa hotel not to be able to use when you want, understandable charge for treatments but not just to use the pool.
All in all had a relaxing time, the staff make the hotel, the policy’s and amenities would need to be reviewed for me to return as feel there’s better value on the island.
