Great hotel, just a couple of negatives.Posted Nov 9, 2013
Pros: The position, just 5 minutes from the beach, and the layout with lovely gardens. The service, food quality and choice in the buffet restaurant
Cons: Difficult to get a sun lounger around the pool if you arrived after 10:00am! Disappointed with the entertainment provided by the Animation team.
Location: Great location, close to the Port and beach and ideal for a stroll around the marina and shops. Plenty of water activities, boat trips etc.
Stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. Cannot fault the quality of the accommodation and the service, but there were a few negatives, such as the 'age old' problem of not being able to get a sun lounger around the pool, because of all of the towels put on them early in the morning. We gave up on our second day and from then on went to the beach, which was rarely crowded. Also noticed others from the hotel, who had 'suffered' the same problem. In general the hotel entertainment was OK, but was a little disappointed with the animation team, whose 'special' events (Halloween) seemed very amateurish. However, the overall experience was very good and we would recommend this hotel

A completely relaxing, comfortable experience.Posted Oct 8, 2013
My daughter and I felt that anything we could have asked for was provided - nothing rowdy or ill mannered. The staff were always smiling and willing to help in every way. Dining was an utter pleasure with lots of choice for my vegetarian diet. Spacious room and bathroom facilities with private balcony We were especially delighted with the range of 'keep fit classes' run by Sara, an extremely friendly and well qualified instructor. We both had a wonderful, relaxing break and can't wait to return. Hopefully next year.

Great place to stayPosted Jun 6, 2013
Pros: The choice of food
Location: Good location. Good variety of shops in the area and friendly staff
I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a nice and relaxing tostay. The staff were very friendly, the food was good and the surroundings was beautiful. In the evenings you had good entertainment, including Flemingo dancing. The hotel has 2 lovely pools and the beach is only 10 minutes walk away.

Pros: Pools, room, service
Location: Short walk to beach area and marina
Third visit to Mogan Playa and the quality is consistent with the same level of service from our first arrival. Grounds, pools and rooms are well looked after to a consistent high standard.

Wonderful holiday at Cordial Mogan PlayaPosted Mar 8, 2013
Pros: The grounds and pool area
We were on a bed and breakfast basis, so therefore didn't get to know the staff, the breakfast chef, a lady, was extremely friendly and efficient as were the staff running the pool bar. The grounds are beautiful and very well looked after, overall the hotel is superb and well run and I would definitely recommend The Cordial Mogan Playa

Great hotel for a perfect Canarian villagePosted Dec 30, 2012
Pros: Nothing was too much trouble for the staff
Cons: Formal dining restaurant lacks atmosphere
Location: 5 minute walk from the most delightful beach and marina
First time in Gran Canaria and the most noteworthy aspect was the totally widespread friendliness of everyone we met including all the staff at this hotel. As far as we could tell this is the only serious hotel in Playa Mogan so given that the village is so delightful it is important for the hotel to be up to snuff. It does not let Mogan down in any way. Room layout allows for many guests but it doesn't feel crowded and if there are a lot of kids here we couldn't hear them. Short walk to beach and marina but not an inconvenience.

A Good Canarian HotelPosted Nov 12, 2012
Pros: Nothing in particular - everything was in good condition and well run
Cons: Cost of a pot of tea and ice from room service
Location: Quiet fishing port no noisy discos and clubs
Staff were helpful and polite taking a proper amount of time to deal with your requests. Dining experience was good in all respects. facilities were plentiful being more than one would expect in a four star hotel. All in all a very well run complex and a delight to stay at.
