Beautiful setting right on the beach. Stunning gardens with wild parrots flying around. Loads to do in the area too.

Dissapointing dated hotel

Posted Aug 6, 2014
The good things first: impressive size, nice garden and pool. With all the space they could have built more pools. Dinner buffet very nice. Clean hotel, nice staff. Bathroom was nice. Good entertainment The bad: a permanent sense of austerity, like not providing bottles of water at breakfast, natural juices a bit old or water was added. The decor is dated throughout, but the rooms really beed some care. Everything was functional but nothing glamourous. The beach is not private and it's not the best on the island.

Excellent stay here. Very relaxing.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Internet connection to wifi
Location: A nice beach. Not much nightlife.
Thoroughly enjoyed it. Food and drink delicious. Staff incredibly helpful and friendly. The pool wasn't too crowded and lots on sun loungers available. Lovely gardens to sunbathe in too.

The hotel is good. Not sure about the 4 star.

Pros: Close to the beach, Clean. Staff really good.
Cons: The entertainment programme is disappointing. Just one pool.
Location: Dunes are close by.
We were given a garden view room, which was nice but a bit small for 2 adults and 1 child. As we were told all the rooms are the same size unless you choose a Junior suite, we upgraded. It was worth it, the new room had much more space and was a ground floor development with a patio. The room had a fridge with water in it only, other all inclusive places we've stayed have beers and some other alcohol in the room. Foods good but a bit repetitive, they change some of the dishes daily, but not enough really, after a week we struggled to find different things to eat. It's in the normal buffet style, so a salad bar, a intercontinental meat cheese bar, and 2 hot stations which had foods that were cooked in front of you. The pool was good, although there is only one. You have to get your own drinks from the bar and food can't be eaten around the pool. This was good as we didn't see any flys, ants or the usual sparrows. The entertainment in the evenings needs improving. There is a house band called 'Treasure' who are on every night. They are like Brotherhood of Man, and look and sound like they're stuck in the 70's. The speciality acts that were on were very good. We saw the flamenco, chinese acrobats and Irish dancing in our stay of a week. There are a few more things you can do in the evenings, you can go out of the Dunes or the local beach.

Excellent hotel, superb service.

Pros: Service, location and food.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
Location: Near an excellent sandy beach, plus in the opposite direction a promenade with shops, restaurants and cafes.
Great location next to the beach, with extensive well kept grounds and outstanding service. All staff extremely service oriented at all times. Choice of food very good, with a choice of restaurants. Would happily return to this hotel.

Great Stay

Posted May 26, 2014
Pros: almost everything was good.
Cons: There was a wide variety of food however there is room for improvement taste wise. Additionally extension of all inclusive to customers on the beach
Location: The Las Palmas park and aqua center is a must visit.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. They were always smiling and tried to ensure visitors were enjoying the hotel to the fullest. The night entertainment was attractive and funny.
