Pros: The gardens and infinity pool gave a great sense of space and relaxation - no serried ranks of sun loungers to be fought over.
Cons: Reception was friendly but understaffed. Smokers colonised the outside areas and it was difficult to avoid wafting smoke.
Location: The seaside promenade with elegant shops and restaurants was just beyond the gates, and the sand dunes nearby offered great walks.
Just what we wanted for a week of reading, relaxation and a little walking and exploration of the island. The hotel is beautifully designed and it is large without feeling impersonal, giving a feeling of luxury without pretension. The food was good and we enjoyed the variety of dining options

Large hotel with good facilitiesPosted Jan 5, 2014
Pros: Grounds were fantastic. Staff were friendly. Free Wi-fi in lounge area.
Cons: Parking costs were too high. They talk about sunbeds not being able to be reserved but no evidence that they did anything about it.
Location: Good restaurants. Lovely promenade - cafes etc. Mainly chill in the sun.
Had a great week. Plenty of things to do and outside restaurants/ bars etc to eat in. Prices in the hotel were more but not extortionate. My wife enjoyed a couple of the spa treatments.

Sensational resort!Posted May 28, 2013
Pros: The grounds were well cared for and the various pool options amazing!
Cons: Although not a real issue, and although the room was spotless on arrival, the cleaning during our 8 day stay wasn't to the same standard as every else
Location: could not wish for better!
Attention to detail was amazing and the cleanliness of the resort and care of the staff made for a very relaxing holiday which is what was needed.

Excellent for swimmingPosted Mar 31, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is a great place to stay if you enjoy big pool areas , great for both swimming and kids. Great restaurants both at the hotel and in the surroundings. The internet connection in the rooms are poor, but otherwise it is ok.

Modern hotel with great facilitiesPosted Feb 24, 2013
Pros: The swimming pools, hotel grounds and attentive staff
Cons: Buffet dinners can become a bit monotonous
Location: Good location near the beach and shops and restaurants
Clean, modern Hotel with attentive staff and great facilities. Fourth visit and would definitely consider another trip to catch the winter sun. Not a cheap holiday but you definitely get what you pay for. Good location, short trip to airport and close to a variety of shops and restaurants.

Nice resort hotel to enjoy the sun and poolsPosted Feb 19, 2013
Pros: Swimming pools and the hangout places surrounding the pools.
Cons: Lack of food and drink or room service after 11:00 pm (especially since the Spanish supper usually start at 9:00 or 10:00 pm.
Location: Southern tip of the main island of Canary Islands, with beach in front of the hotel, although the beach has a lot of naked old fat men.
Nice resort with rich tourists from Europe to hang out by the beautiful and well maintained pools - clean pools.

Super relaxing holidaayPosted Nov 5, 2012
Pros: Spacious ground and marvelous swimming pools
Cons: The TV channels in english were only news channels would have liked more choices ie BBC 1.
Location: Next to the beautiful dunes of Maspalomas - quiet part of resort. Short taxi ride to busy and more energenic playa de ingles.
Lovely special hotel that definately feels like a 5 star rather than a 4 star. Its so spacious you never feel as though you on top of other guests. The decor is beautiful and the spa experience is to die for. Not really a teenager or 20s hotel as quiet and refined.

We have had a wonderful week's break at this hotel. The hotel was stunning, beautiful grounds and 4 lovely swimming pools. The infinity pool is brilliant, just seems to stretch out to sea. We booked a standard double room and were very impressed with the quality of the furnishings, decor and comfort. Bathrooms were really impressive with separate walk in showers plus bath and shower. We did not book sea or pool views and our room faced the mountains and we could also see the dunes, just lovely. We had bed and breakfast rate and ate out at some very nice restaurants in Costa Meloneras although we did try one of the A La Carte restaurants in the hotel and had a very nice meal. The 4 of us were looking for a quiet week in comfortable surroundings and we got this. The spa is amazing, my husband and I had a treatment and then spent the day in the spa, which is definitely the best one I have ever been in, and Ive been in lots! Staff were friendly and the service was good. Too be honest we didn't get out much, weather was very hot and we didn't feel like driving about, we had a look at puerto rico (not so nice) and puerto mogan which was a pretty little bay for a trip out. We did follow the advice of getting up early and going for a walk in the dunes, which was well worth doing. We all said we would go back to this hotel again - very impressed.

Excellent.Posted Sep 18, 2012
Pros: Huge pool, well maintained facilities, staff, food - everything !
Cons: Beach towels placed on sun beds by ' early risers' and then not occupied.
Location: Yards from the beach and local shops, restaurants etc but still private and secluded.
Very efficient and friendly check in at reception. All hotel staff smart, polite and very professional. Suberb amenties all in well maintained hotel and grounds. The ideal location and hotel for a relaxing stress free, sit by the huge pool, holiday. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Families with children catered for but not many there during our visit ( mid Sept). Excellent breakfast and evening buffet's with wide choice of food to suit all tastes and nationalities. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definately return again
