a very relaxed breakPosted May 2, 2014
Pros: The staff are friendly and helpful and the hotel is very clean. Breakfast is the best!
Cons: that the cash machine is refilled more frequently and is nearer to the reception.
Location: We were right by the sea.
although busy to start with, the hotel coped amazingly with the amount of guests.

Lopesan Costa Melonares Resort - simply the bestPosted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: Extremely well run, efficient teams and any queries immediately answered. Food in main restaurant excellent and loads of choice.
Cons: Towels on sun beds syndrome - only one morning were guests asked to remove 'reserved beds' - could do with more vigilance but not easy.
Location: Overlooks beach leading to Maspolomas sand dunes and main promenade. Many shops nearby and beachside cafe's
Staff excellent - helpful and respectful, sense of humour and good English. Location opposite beach and numerous shops was fantastic. Pools were always immaculate and perfect temperature - no need to go elsewhere for entertainment.

Everything except for 1 thing was wonderful.Posted Mar 27, 2014
Pros: The large and circular pools were outstanding. The palm trees, mini golf course, put put green, sports entertainment and staff were also outstanding.
Cons: When pays for a sea view a proper sea view should be arranged not mostly a view of a large roof. Many of the older German clientel we found to be rude
Location: Beautifully located right at the sea and close to the dunes, excellent!!
The large 90 meter long 70 meter (in places) wide pool was absolutely beautiful. It blended with the sea on the seaward side and had a wonderful view of the hotel when swimming away from the sea. It was also surrounded with many plam trees which were beautiful and offered shade for hot days. The circular pool was also lovely and very peaceful to swim around. The Spa was out of this world, we most especially enjoyed the flotation room where you literally float on the water due to a high salt content and they play relaxing music underwater so that you can hear it while floating. Each room had a different theme e.g. Egyptian steam room, Turkish bath, African Sauna etc etc all were outstanding and well thought out. The staff and the food and service were also all outstanding. We did pay extra for a room with a view to the sea but we only got a side view of the sea with a large roof below us which wasn't ideal.

Amazing hotel with great swimming poolsPosted Mar 23, 2014
Pros: I liked the swimming pools, the overall hotel layout and the fact that it is beautiful and easy to enjoy the sun and views almost everywhere.
Cons: I was surprised to have to pay for the safe in the room. The night time animations are loud so we preferred being in a room further away from them.
Location: Very nicely located : a few minutes away from the beach, the sandy dunes and from the promenade. It is also easy to explore the south from there.
We stayed 7 nights at this hotel for our babymoon. I was 6 months pregnant and wanted a relaxing holiday and quality time with my husband. This hotel is ideal for this, it has been cleverly created with amazing swimming pools (especially the infinity pool), there is a nice terrace to have a drink and read a book, the food is nice. The palm trees are really beautiful and give the holiday feel to the place straight away. The staff is friendly. We enjoyed having, breakfast, lunch and dinner outside. It is also very well located a few minutes to the beach and the sandy dunes. There is also a nice promenade for long walks, I liked watching the sunset there. Overall the atmosphere is really pleasant, we had a great time. We think we might go there again next year with our baby.

Great hotel with very good facilitiesPosted Mar 18, 2014
Pros: Setting great ,facilities wonderful ,very we'll maintained
Cons: The rooms are a little worn but very clean
Location: We didn't leave the hotel as they provide you with everything you could possibly need
A wonderful place to unwind and relax, hotel grounds are beautiful and expansive .the hotel is enormous and we needed the map for the first two days. The lagoon, lazy river, quiet pool are all great. The food was varied in the buffet and of good standard although we realised there is a supplement for the a la carte restaurants .Staff are very polite and helpful, room was very clean and we'll maintained but a little dated ,the outside is so fantastic the rooms felt drab and in need of a little tlc .Overall a restful, lovely hotel, prices fair. They make a great piña colada!

Superb hotel and resortPosted Mar 17, 2014
Pros: The ambience.
Cons: Reduce the cost of the Spa.
Location: Meloneras as a resort is excellent - very well planned.
The grounds of this hotel are stunning with magnificent swimming pools. The cost of the Spa experience was far too high - 35 euros per person per 1/2 day. Just not worth it for a pool and sauna.

Lovely hotel with great pools!Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Great swimming pools!
Cons: The rooms are perhaps a little dated in decor.
Location: The hotel is close to the beach and sand dunes of Maspolomas. Plenty of restaurants and bars if you don't want to spend your whole time at the hotelm
This is my second time staying here and again it didn't dissapoint. All the staff were friendly and the hotel lovely and clean.
