“Outstanding Choice”

Outstanding hotel, beautiful and convenient location for deep sea fishing excursions.

The perfect place for a half term break, plenty of sun beds and lots of room [not sure whether this would be the case in the height of the summer!]

Excellent hotel, nice big rooms (separate bedroom, bathroom, and lounge with kitchen area). Great pool and area, but no direct sea access for swimming. Good breakfast (didn't try other meals, so can't comment). Staff were all helpful and efficient. Short family friendly shows or entertainment were on every evening. Note that maid service in room isn't 7 days a week - I think there is one day off, but not 100% sure on that. View out to sea is over the marina, so you see a lot of private boats, or over the pool area and garden. Short walk (along the marina) to get to the beach - can easily be done in flipflops and swimming trunks. Nice restaurant just outside the hotel, but not open on Mondays, I think.

“Marina Suites”

We have just returned after a week's holiday at Marina Suites. The staff were excellent,very friendly and the choice and quality of food for breakfast and dinner was very impressive. This is a well managed hotel and it's probably the best service with have received when going abroad .We don't usually go to the same place twice but would consider returning again next year. We checked reviews before booking and we were not disappointed in any way.

“Not a 4 star experience”

Marina Suites is nice enough but wasn't up to the 4 stars level, or worth the price. No toiletries were provided in the room, the beds were rather hard and the balcony under-furnished, albeit with two very designer-ish chairs. The pool was beautiful but the loungers were almost always very crowded, and we weren't even there in school holidays (we went early October 2010). The clientele was largely UK tours or scandinavian, and quite loud. The hotel food was reasonably good and very well priced, but elsewhere in Puerto Rica it was hard to find good food in a nice setting. We won't be going back.
