Great for a relaxing get away.Posted Aug 4, 2013
Pros: Peace, pool and staff
Cons: Local facilities
Location: Beach is lovely it seems local
Friendly helpful and patient staff. Warm welcome on arrival. We have been twice this year the first in May when we had bed and breakfast this time in July we opted for half board. It was delightfully quiet and peaceful ideal for couples wishing to get away from the hassle of work! It does seem to cater for the German/Scandinavian market especially food wise but we thoroughly enjoyed it. There are eating options locally if required. The beach is directly in front of the hotel. Breakfast offers most choices, cava on Sunday morning, lovely!! We left at 4am for our flight with a wake up call and coffee and pre made breakfast! If you want tea coffee in your room take a kettle!

Nice hotel on the beachPosted May 17, 2013
The hotel is right on the beach. The hotel Is very small and the surrounding area is quiet and the busier more populated beach/ shopping area is a 20 minute walk down the boardwalk. Shopping is a short walk. The rooms were large according to European standards and have refrigerators. The food was excellent and staff were very accommodating. Our 20 month old child was one of the only kids in the hotel but they bent over backwards catering to our needs. The only downfall is that there was no kiddy pool and the pools were too deep and cold for a small child.

Ideal for couples :) quiet and pleasant atmosphere. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice hotel without screaming kids and smokers on balconies. Delicious breakfast.

could be betterPosted May 14, 2007
good location, good beach.---rooms nice, clean and tidy. breakfst was ok for continental, but was only warm for traditional english---ie bacon, eggs , etc we were the only english people in the hotel, the rest were germans and swedes, and the place really revolved around their tastes the hotel staff were quite miserable generally, and couldn`t be bothered to say hello, goodbye etc even though we tried---i felt that if we were german or swedish we would have got a better reception

superPosted Mar 12, 2007
Not many places on Gran Canaria are beach level but san agustin beach club is.Super staff, accomadation spot on,breakfast choice excellant, hot dishes could be hotter but seems the norm in all hotels.Only English couple in all of the hotel, everyone else Swedish but all very friendly.Would definately stay again.300 yds to shopping centre, with choice of bars and restaurants. 2 miles to Playa inglis, could be walked but 4 euro taxi easier!
